Hogwarts New Stories: Third Year

Conni carfully pocketed the locket and sighed. It's worth a shot...

 

Nort stopped and ran back to Diagon Alley.

 

"Lily, there was a man I saw in Diagon Ally, he says he's my grandfather," Kai said. "But he looks crazy. Might be the prisoner who escaped."

 

Conni turned and walked away, her hand claped around the locket in her pocket. Not noticing the cuts from the shards of glass.

 

Nort walked back to where he and Conni argued. He sighed. "All is fair in love and war." He turned around and went to get his stuff.

 

"Lily, if you don't want me around anymore, I'll be leaving," Kai said, walking to the door. Rox already left.

 

10 minutes later Conni was sitting on the table of a picnic table fumbling with a small white box. I hope he doesn't mind I did this... I've got until the start of term to figure out what to say at least...

 

Nort walks by Conni without looking at her.

 

Kai went back to her house and laid on her bed, listening to her I-Pod. The song was Who I Am Hates Who I've Been, she just sighed.

 

"Nort, umm... wait a second." Conni asked jumping down from her seat.

 

"What do you wnat? Have you come to tell me that you are sorry?"

 

"No. I ain't done nothing. I wanted to give you this back, I think you dropped it. The glass was a bit broken, well shattered really. So I got it fixed for you... umm... so here..."She said handing him the box

 

"I suspect you wnat me to thank you. If so than thaks for making things worse." Nort dropped the box and kept walking.

 

Kai sighed, lifting up her arm, she stared at her bracelet.

 

"I didn't have to..." Conni mumbled sadly picking up the box again. "I was just trying to be nice... And it wasn't cheap getting it fixed up..."

 

"Then you are an idiot."

Kai changed the song to My Happy Ending. She saw Yuffie talking to Sephiroth.

 

"I guess I am..." Conni sighed putting the box back in her pocket. Her hand meeting a cold sharp surface within, just placing her hand over it made her feel better and the cool feeling of numbness spread across her body. She gentlely pulled her thumb over the edged side. But no pain came, it never did. Not anymore, just a feeling of dark relief as the blood dripped. Whist all this was going on inside of her Conni didn't show a single sign of emotion at all.

 

"I mean, come on. Why waste money when you can just use Reparo?" Nort appeared to be his old self. "Thank you. And sorry about earlier."
