"Lily, there's something I need to tell you," Kai said, looking around for her parents or any of her two brothers.

 

"what is it?"lily said opening the door wider,letting her in"mum and dad are still out...james is in his room..."

 

"You certainly acted like you did!"

 

"Rox told me someone had escaped from Azkaban and is looking for you," she said. "I think that you should know."

 

"I wasn't the only one sending mixed signals."

 

"me? why me?"lily said

 

"What the hell? How the hell was I sending mixed signals?!"

 

"Don't know," Kai said. "But lets promise we won't go looking for trouble this year."

 

"One second you wnat me dead. Am inuet later, we are listen to songs on hte same i-pod."

 

"i dont go looking for trouble....trouble looks for me..."Lily said

 

"I'm schitzophrenic what do you expect?!"

 

"Something that was never there." Nort turned to walk away. He pulls out his i-pod with the song puased. "Keep it."

 

Rox entered the house, his bracelet on. "Kai, trouble does usually find you and your friends."

"Thanks a lot, Rox!" Kai said.

 

"No. Stop trying to give me stuff! That's not gonna help!" She snapped "I don't get you! I really...really don't..." Conni said her voice descending into nothing but a whisper.

 

Nort reaches a corner. He rips something off of his chest and throws it on the ground. He leaves the locket open with its glass crack right down the center.

 

she smiled

 

Conni sighed sadly and walked after him, on hearing the crack of glass underfoot she glanced down to see the locket. What...? Why did he...? she asked herself bending over to pick it up.

 

Sorry Mom. I tried to live your way, but in the end I ended up worse. I am sorry. Nort ran out of the Leaky cauldron and kept running.
