Hogwarts New Stories: Third Year

Nort stepped beside her and placed his arms around her.

 

Conni nervously hugged him back.

 

Nort looked away from Conni.

 

"What's wrong...?" She asked carfully, still with her arms wraped around him.

 

"I can't kiss you remember."

 

"Yeah... Sorry... That's the one thing that isn't going to change... Sorry..."

 

"I know. That is why I am not looking at you."

 

"Oh..." She mumbled.

 

Nort looked at her. He resisted the urge to kiss her.

 

Conni sighed slightly "Maybe that's enough hugging..."

 

"I never want this moment to end." Nort said before letting go.

 

"Sorry..." She sighed hanging her head slightly.

 

Nort tilted Conni's chin upward. "Don't blame yourself. At least you can cook. I burn salad and cereal."

 

"I've never actully tried cooking." She laughed nervously.

 

"I can cook popcorn."

 

"I can't even do that, at least as far as I know." Conni giggled.

 

"Me and my dad use to order out becuase neither of us can cook."

 

"We just get Mum to do it. Sco... My brother used to do most of it when he was home though..."

 

"And what I said about my dad trying to kill me was true. He was drunk that night."

 

"See, drunk. My dad ain't exactly a friendly drunk, let's put it this way. Mum makes him leave his wand behind if he goes to the pub he can get that nasty. And what people do when they're drunk tend to be so out of character you should just ignore it."
