Conni kissed him back and said, "I love you, you know that don't you?"

 

""YEs adn you know I love you with all of my heart."

 

Conni nodded, hugging him tighter.

 

Nort smiled and held her close.

 

"Come on... We can't hang around here to long... Who knows when a deatheaters gonna show up..."

 

"We are the only ones on this floor." Nort kssed her forehead.

 

"Prob'ley not for long..." She said looking from side to side... Scared of what might be coming...

 

Nort started to transform. Before his snout ahd fully grown and he couldn't talk, he said, "I'll keep you safe. I promise."

 

"I can look after myself. And I don't want a repeat of the summer before last." She snapped at him.

 

"That summer I wasn't in control." Nort finish transforming and nuzzeled Conni's leg.

 

"It's still damn creepy..." And scary... she added in her head.

 

Nort smiled. He laid down with one paw over another and his head resting on the. He chuckles.

 

"No offence, but can you change back?"

 

Nort sighed. He started to turn back to normal. "Happy?" he asked when he finished.

 

"Yeah... Sorry... It just freaks me out..."

 

"but you feel so free. I wish you could experince that.. scratch that. I don't want you feel that kind of freedom. At least not that way."

 

Conni raised an eyebrow and smirked. "Come on, let's go already. Can't let Lily and Ray get all the good DeathEaters..."

 

"What? Do think it is fun to be a dog-like creature? I admit, I like this form better than my last. I was subject to emotions. Now, everyone is perfectly safe."

 

"No they're not at the moment there are bloody deatheaters crawling out of the woodwork and you keep stopping me from going to help! Let's go!" She said walking away.

 

Nort followed close behind. In his mind's eye, he remembered how he got bit. He chuckled a little.
