"Ummm..." Conni broke her silence"You...you saw hi...him die?"

 

Nort was happy. The girl he loved was okay. His brother was not mad at him. He was the happiest werewolf in the school.

yeah..."James said looking down"i tired to help...but by the time i got there...it was too late...i could have saved him...if the death eaters hadent got in my way...im so sorry ..."he said,he looked down again

lily looked sideways at him.he didnt look like the teenager she remeber...he tried to help? but he never liked him....so many questions...and no answers...but james look so honset when he said he tried to help...

albus looked at them,then at conni"dont worry...the order...will avenge your brother....we promise...from what james had told me...he died bravely....not in shame....and no one should have to die in the hands of the dark lord...."he said "Im sorry...if this is upsetting you..."

 

"No I'm fine. I want to know what happened if that's ok with James...."

"Yeah sure its ok...you have a right to know...its your brother...but here isnt the right place to tell you...so...what about the trohpy room?"he said

"I'll wait out here with albus..."Lily said sitting on a bench

albus sat down

"come on..."James said he started walking to the room

 

Nort could smell Conni. To him, she smelled like a rose. He always loved her scent, ever since he first smelled it all those years ago.

 

Conni followed James to the trophy room.

 

"what do you want to know exactly...i'll tell you all i can..."he said sitting down

 

Conni sat opposite him. "I just want to know what happened. I don't even know why he was there...."

 

Nort knew Conni was on this floor, but he smelled a farmiliar scent.Isn't that Jame's scent? I thought he was dead. Nort waited for her to finish with the guy who smelled loike James. He would wait no matter how long.

 

"Im not sure exactly why he was there...."James said remebering the sence"But some of the younger arours were there...you know the ones in order...we were trying to catch the death eaters and maybe you-know-who himself...i was fighting lestrange....not belitrix...her husband...he;s gone now though...but i herd screaming and yelling,i ran looking for it...i thought i reconised it as your brother...i saw him...with voldemort...being tourtuerd...i hid behind a rock with my best friend....who for some reason chose to look like me that day...just as i raised my wand to stun voldemort...i was too late...he,your brother....was gone....i slide to the floor as curses and jinxs flew over my head...i was shocked...i never really liked your brother...but i never once..wished him dead....but deep down...i kinda did like your brother....we were just different...but i was to shocked to move.....my best mate dragged me away..he was killed getting me out of there alive...because he knew i had a family...one i had to go back too.....once the death eaters had gone...i placed the bodies where they would be found....i contacted albus to tell him what had happend and that i had to hid...he sid i could hide in his house....then he got some one to find the bdoies.thats all i know..."james said"Im sorry...sorry that i couldnt save him..."He said again

Conni fought back tears "You couldn't of done anything.... What was he doing there.... And why was he tourturing him..."

You see, even he didn't wish death on him andthey were enemies.... He was my brother....
