"Ummm, Lily. Come with me for a moment..." Conni got up and dragged her out of the classroom. "Why didn't you tell us!"

Lauren ran happily out of class to follow them.

 

"I didnt know....wait how can i talk to a snake? its a animal..."she said

 

"Dunno. Conni? Your slytherin. Do you know?"

"Oh and that means I can talk to snakes dosn't it, thanks Lauren." Conni said sarcaticly "Seriously though you can Lily!"

 

"i can? is that good or bad?"lily said

 

Lauren smiled. "NO! I meannnnt since your animal is a snake, if you knew how...?" she sighed.

 

"Just joking Lauren." Conni smiled, then her face went serious as she faced Lily "Normally, I would say bad. Your Dad can as well. But so can Voldemort."

 

"yeah this is bad.."Lily siad sitting on a bench

 

Conni sat next to her "It's only bad if people start getting petrified again."

 

"Petrified?" she asked. "Whats that?"

 

"It looks like a cross between someone in a coma and rigger mortis."

 

"Oh. And why is that connected to snake talk?"

 

"and if they do? who'll get the blame?"Lily said

 

"The Chamber of Secrets." She looked at Lily, "Right now, you... or me, every always thinks it's a Malfoy."

"it was open when our dads were in second year...alot of muggle borns got petrified...including my aunt hermione....watch out lauren..if it is open...you could be affected..."Lily said

 

"Yeah, be very carful, if there is a basilisk in there still, which I doubt, one look can kill."
