"An Apple" she bit her lip. "Sorry, I thought it would just burn..."

 

"..Oh...well what do you think my dream girl will be like?''Cade asked nonchalantely

 

Lauren frowned. "I dunno...hopefully someone as smart as you" she joked.

 

Cade laughed"Yeah...hopefully...''he said,he had completely forgotten he was going out with lauren

Lauren smiled slightly. "We are only 16...why are you thinking about that already?" then she blushed. "I mean you are 16, just saying I am too..."

 

"Im going to come of age soon...and I want to find the one for me...I havent yet"Cade said sadly

 

Lauren became really angry. Her mouth parted a bit. "Oh?" she said, trying not to sound angry.

 

"No...''Cade said"Most of the girls I've dated...only a couple in my third year...they looked ok...but had no mental capacity..''he said,he shut his book and stood up,he looked at Lauren"Hey..while were on the subject,have you found someone you fancy?''he asked

 

"No" she said coldly. "not really"

 

Cade raised an eyebrow"..You sounded different just now...what's wrong?''he asked

 

Lauren sighed. She didn't want to show that she was sad. "Nothing..." she gave him a small smile, then looked away.

 

"Spit it out...keeeping it in wont solve anything...''Cade said

 

"Well saying it wont help either" she muttered. She wasn't looking at him.

 

"Look at me..''Cade demanded politely

Lauren waited a moment, then looked at him. "Why don't you remember?" She looked around. "Muffliato" she muttered so people wouldn't hear.

 

"Remember what?''Cade asked confused

 

She sighed. "Who did you take to the Yule Ball?"

The next day, Conni had found a Hufflepuff prefect to deal with Colin, Conni was sitting outside again.
