"conni! wait!"Lily called after her

 

Conni turned around to face Lily. "Yeah." She sniffed

 

"whats up?"lily said

 

"It's nothing, I'm just being stupid...."

 

"no your not...somethings up...so what is it?"lily said

 

Conni walked to the bathroom door and opened it "I don't want anyone else to hear ok?" She stepped in.

 

"she nodded walking in after her

 

Conni was leaning against the sinks, staring into the mirror in front. "It's really stupid." she sighed "I guess, I guess I just miss him..."

 

lily leaned agenst the wall"who?"she asked

 

"Nort... It's not that I want to go out with him, I just want him around..."

 

"oh...where is he? why isnt he here?"lily asked

 

Conni sighed "His dad's really ill... He told me that just after I threated to slap him..."

 

"whats wrong with him?"

 

"He didn't say exactly, it's a virus... So no cure, and it's really fast acting... He said he probley won't make it to Nort's next birthday..."

 

"so....hes not coming back?"lily asked

 

"Maybe... His dad'll make him I bet... And he won't want to let him down..."

 

"well at least you`ll get to see him again..."Lily said

 

"But..." Conni sighed "He's gonna be so sad, and I don't know what to do about that... I don't like the idea of anyone being upset, exspecially him..."
