He continued to rub her back,resting his chin on her head

 

"I'll help you if that's the case." Casey agreed, Mickey had always been one to sort out problems with his fists rather then with his brain and now that he was getting bigger, bigger then a usual human for sure thanks to his werewolf heritage. He just knew before long it was going to start causing some major problems and injuries to the opposition.

Finally the sheer terror of what had just happened dawned on Lake, she started to panic. Her breath became shorter, her eyes widened and her heart raced even faster then before. She sobbed loudly and just wanted to vanish inside of Mickey's hug.

 

She sighed

"Its gonna be ok...shhh....its ok"

 

"How long do you think it'll take Cory to get there?" Casey asked.

Lake continued to cry loudly, shake violently and cling tightly onto him. The fear in her painfully obvious for anyone watching.

 

"Well...considering he drives like hes in a race...five to ten minutes."

Hurry up Cory...she's totaly losing it here....and so am I

 

"So he should be arriving there any minute now?"

Lake felt herskinny, and now bruised, legs give way beneath her, the terror so all consuming that even her ability to stand up was practically gone.

 

ooc-sorry I had to go out with my parents and we only JUST got back ^^;

"About now."Lyra said


"Whoa."Mickey said holding Lake up,as Cory's glossy black car pulled up at the kurb"What HAPPENED?! He said opening the back door for Mickey to Help Lake in,Ronan and Shawn appeared,Shawn getting in the Back with the two blondes and Ronan getting in the front passgenger seat


"I'll tell you when we get home"Mickey muttered

"Good, the not knowing is killing me." Casey muttered as he took another swig from his water cup. He drummed his fingers against the door frame he was leaning against as he tried to stop thinking of all the various different worst-case-scenarios.

Lake was unceremoniously 'helped' into the car, although she was too distraught to notice any of the various indignities she may or may not of been put through. Tears carried on streaming down her face and pathetic whimpers coming from her lips.

 

"What happened to her?"Cory said,speeding away

Lyra wandered around,looking as if she wanted something to distract her

 

Lake sobbed heavily as the question prompted memories of the situation to resurface. What make up she had been wearing was now streaked down her face, she was indeed a sorry sight.

"Whatever it is, it'll be sorted out. Don't worry." Casey said, trying to sound supportive.

 

"Not now Cory."

Lyra nodded

OOC- It's fine, I'm trying to do homework anyway XD

Lake just wanted to get... home...
She'd never thought of anywhere as home before, and now that was all she could think of. She wanted to be home.

"They should be back soon."

 

"Hopefully its jsut a false alarm and they just want to come home...or something"

Cory glanced in the rear view mirror at Lake

ooc-i cant be on as late as i have been....school tomorrow >.<

 

OOC- Same here, getting up at 6am ftl ><

"I really hope so." Casey agreed.

She continued to cry and sob, her breath heavy and she was starting to struggle for air.

"Lake..calm down...deep breaths"


Cory sung in to the drive way

"I think thats them."Maddie said

 

OOC- I have to get a public bus thingy and then walk to school. I get there by 8am, school starts at 9am DX It's really annoying, and cold ._.

"Good." Casey said, heading quickly to the door way and swinging it open for the returning teens.

She attempted to slow her breathing down, to take bigger breaths. But all that happened was she choked on her tears.

"Hey...Lake its ok...we're home now....your home...."

Cory opened the back door again,then glanced worridly at the house

Mickey practiacally lifted Lake out the car,just in case her knees gave way again

 

OOC- What's worse is when I have a free period first, that just takes the p*ss DX

Lake held tightly onto Mickey, still shaking.

"Lyra!" Casey called back into the house. "You might want to come out here!" He said, walking out onto the driveway to take a closer look at what happened.

Lyra came out after him and gasped "what happened?"

Mickey reajusted his hold on Lake"Can I get her inside for mum?"he all but snapped,those constant two words were starting to get very annoying...and clearly he wasnt one to annoy at the moment

Casey quickly stepped to one side, years of growing up around grumpy women had taught him to know when talking was a good idea and when it wasn't.
