Hogwarts: New Moon

Maddie sighed,staring straight ahead,doing her best to ingnore her dad

"Heh...yeah nice for you"he muttered"with a family this close...nothing escapes their notice.."

"Hey Maddz? what kind of car does the night crawler have?"Cory asked looking out the window

 

"Make sure you say 'fangs' for present he brings you." Casey said, stressing the pun strongly. "Ooo, is the Batmobile here then?"


"I think close families are nice. It means you're never alone..." Lake said, she knew what she was saying wasn't going to change his mind. But she felt strongly about the idea of a family it was hard to stop herself from at least trying.

 

"Shut up"she said finaly

"Yep.. its him..and his sister....the Little one..."


"Your no giving up on that are you?"He grinned

"Alice? "she said lookin cofused

 

"Finally I get a rise from you!" Casey exclaimed with joy, waving his arms about excitedly.

"Nope." Lake giggled, a small smile creeping onto her lips. It was the smile of someone who'd gotten out of the practise of doing so. A shy, barely there one. It was the smile that she always hand upon leaving her 'home'.

 

"Casey...."Lyra sighed

Maddie crossed the room to open th front door,she smiled

"H"Happy-"he said but stopped short as she glared at him,he sighed"Dont start

He grinned,then the smile slid off his face as he wrinkle is nose."Yuck...hes here/"

 

"What? I like to have fun, is that a crime?" He smiled innocently as he slid out of his seat and strutted off to keep an eye on the vampire and his daughter. Even if he mocked his kids, he still wanted to protect them from getting hurt. And when a large, carnivorous being was concerned he felt you could never be too careful. Certainly when said being wasn't actually one of your kids.

"Yeah... I can smell them too..." Lake nodded, wrinkling her nose as well. The rotting smell eating away at her nostrils. "Maybe we should go outside for a while?" She suggested, it'd been so long since she'd had to try and stand the scent of a vampire and the urge to rip, shred and kill was being very over powering. She could almost feel her face elongating into a wolf's muzzle, not that it was of course, but the feeling was there.

 

"I thought you werent coming over till later?"Maddie said

"It was her Idea...she's got you a d-"

"Shhh! Maddie...your wearing it tonight...I alread saw you open it and you love it!"Alice said,to people who werent in the know....that wouldnt have made sense at all...but for her,it was pretty normal,Alice,like anothony...had a....gift..she could see the furture...though it wasnt alway exact...'things arent set in stone!' she'd said.

"Yeah....and It might help waken me up abit."he grinned

"And people say our family is weird." Casey chuckled quietly to himself as he leant against the wooden door between the hallway and the kitchen. He was carefully watching his daughter and her boyfriend, and his family. Being part werewolf, even if he wasn't able to transform, let him smell it. But unlike for his son and his 'friend' the smell wasn't too bad, it was like the strong smell of fish that lingered after cooking salmon steak; it smelt bad to start with, but it soon faded into the background.

Lake nodded with a smile on her petite face. "Only problem is now they're in the hallway, so we'll have to go past them to get away from them..." She sighed, peering down the stairs again.

"Should we wait for them to move? Or just grin and bear it and go through?" Lake enquired, tilting her head slightly in a curious manner.

As Casey watched the 'teens' Immy peered around the door.

"I don't really know..." Lake replied quietly. "It's your choice."

"Grin and Bear it? we'd never hear the end of it from that sister of mine"he laughed

 

OOC- Sorry I wasn't online, ended up totally rearranging my room XD

"Okay then." Lake nodded, she'd of agreed with anything Mickey said. It was almost like a dog and it's master, in everything she did she wanted his approval. Of course this was only natural from a girl with such strong feelings for a guy, be they human, vampire or werewolf.

 

He grinned again,reaching to take her hand,then as if realsing what he was doing he stopped,flushing"S-sorry."he said snatching the hnd back

Lake had felt a light brushing of his hand nearing her's, the small gesture had turned her usually white cheeks a pretty shade of pastel pink. She looked away quickly, hoping to hide the blush under her ringlets. "Let's just go, sooner we get out of here the better for everyone..." She said quietly and quickly.

Says a lot really, you have a boyfriend to see and I'm rearranging furniture. I feel like an crazy cat lady already DX

"Ah....Yeah.."he said leading the way down,his neck still hot and his ears red

Cory snickered as he came into sight...or he did untill Lyra sharply hit him on the back of the head

 

OOC- Well my furniture doesn't like me, my wardrobe's decorative bits keep bonking me on the head D8

Lake followed behind him wordlessly, her hair still hanging over her face. Nervously she fiddled with her flowing, chiffon sleeves.

"Ooooooh." Casey grinned quietly under his breath so only those closest to him could hear, "I wonder what happened to make them so pink." He chuckled, risking an ear-boxing from his wife.

 

Maddie turned to smile widely,she had always said no one would be good enough for her brother,but now she thought the small werewolf was too good for him

"Casey..."Lyra warned,she hit her now cool frying pan off her palm,in a jokingly threatening way,

 

She waved shyly to the group of humans and vampires in the hallway as she passed, still following closely behind Mickey.

"What?" Casey asked, trying his best to look pathetic and sincere. "It's cute."
