"Mickey...I'd stop provoking her right about now."

 

"I'll fetch Lake down and she can sort you out if you're not careful Mickey." Casey said raising an eyebrow. "I'm pretty certain you acting like such a ****** will make her make her little lost puppy look."

 

"is everyone just gonna keep bringing Lake into eveything?

ooc-should i do the whole 'we're leaving you behind and not coming back' part?

Maddie got up,she suddenly had a feeling of dread

With the oncoming smell of vampire Lake decided it would be for the best if she moved downstairs, to keep an eye on Mickey and make sure he doesn't do anything stupid.

 

Maddie let Anthony in,and he didnt meet her eyes"Ho-hows Jasper?"

still no eye contact."Fine.I came to see you...actually.""

"Im fine."

"Good...but...we have to talk."

oh no...Lyra'd heard that line before many times...it never ended well

 

Lake wandered over to Mickey and stood behind him. She could sense that something bad was about to happen, something very bad. Something was going to make Mickey really, really angry.

Casey, who was watching from the doorway, narrowed his eyes slightly at the vampire boy. A million and one angry thoughts and ideas of how best to cause him harm for upsetting his daughter.

 

"ok..."

"Maddie...we're leaving"

she looked confused"But what about my-"then it dawned on her"you mean-?"

"My family and myself....the others are already gone..I only stayed to say goobye..."

His eyes widened,no...I didnt mean that they should actually leave....sh!t

"Im coming with you."

"No.I dont want you to!"

 

Lake quickly grabbed hold of Mickey's hand, her mind thinking more along the lines of keeping him down to earth rather then how she was making what seemed like advances on her fellow werewolf.

A low, barely audible growl escaped Casey.

 

Lyra shot Casey a look. dont...


he cant leave her behind...I didnt mean it....she'll be crushed Mickey stared at the vampire,almost pleading with his eyes

"Oh...th-that changes things then..."she muttered"you...dont want me anymore?"

"No."

something like a sob escaped from her

"You dont belong in my world Maddie...witch or not...Im not good enough for you....We're not good for you health."

 

Casey looked back at his wife, his eyes almost begging her to let him go for the vampire. There were times where the werewolf part of him almost gained dominance.

Lake simply watched the exchange between Anthony and Maddie. It was painful, excruciatingly so.

 

she shook her head

"Can you promise me one thing though? dont do anything stupid or reckless....promise?"

"Promise..."

"The I promise this will be the last time you ever see me...you can get on with your life...do what you want...move on from me...It'll be like I never existed"

she bit her lip"dont."

 

Casey rolled his eyes and mouthed 'fine' to his wife.

 

"Keep your promise Maddz."he said before kissing her forehead,there was a light breeze and he was gone...the front door just closing

 

Slowly Casey approached his daughter and put his hand on her shoulder. "Maddy..."

Lake sighed.

 

she slowly turned around,then she promptly burst into tears

 

Casey hugged his daughter tightly. "It's okay Maddie... You don't need him..."

"How could he do that..." Lake mumbled under her breath.

 

"I do."she sobbed


"He;s a danger to her...."

 

"You don't sweetie... He's just a jerk, you'll find someone better..." Casey said, holding her tighter.

"I thought he loved her.."
