Hogwarts: New Moon

"Come on...I'll make breakfast...oh Maddie...hows the arm?"

"stiff"she yawned"But fine"

Mickey rolled over,there was two personality trates the twins shared: their sleeping and eating habbits,though Mickey was the worst in both...he ate what he wanted...when he wanted...he slept when he wanted and got up when he wanted...his sister was the opposite and sometimes it showed

 

"Seems like everyone had an eventful night but me..." Immy commented as she wandered calmly down the stairs.

Lake looked down at the sleeping werewolf beside her, a faint blush spread once again across her pale face. Then, finally, the penny dropped. She could of broken up Mickey and his girlfriend... And no matter what she was going to have a large group of angry teenage girls wanting her hide. Last night, because of that man, the delicate balance of her near perfect existence had been destroyed.

 

"Count yourself Lucky Immz."

His eyebrows met and his hand twitched,as if he had slapped someone

 

"I guess..." She sighed, sounding more then slightly dejected.

"Mickey...?" Lake said quietly, gently touching his shoulder in the hope of perhaps waking him up in an intrusive way.

 

a noise came from him in response,a groan,then he cracked one eye open blearily "wutz up?"

 

"I'm sorry..." She mumbled, looking down at the sheets.

 

he breathed in threw his nose,streching and blinking"Hmmm?"he said then seeming a tad more awak"oh...its ok."

 

"It's not..." Lake said quietly, her voice quivering as she held back tears. "I ruined your birthday..."

 

"Lake....you didnt..."He said" I did...and I've probably had worse...but I cant remeber"

Lyra tapped the frying pan with her wand,while maddie examined her arm

 

"I-If it wa-wasn't for me then you wouldn't of turned and then people wouldn't of freaked out and there wouldn't of been any drama and-- and--" She rambled, tears started to stream down her face heavy and fast.

Immy sat down at the breakfast table just in time for a large tawny owl to swoop in through the window. The creature flew once around the kitchen and landed on her shoulder.The bird delivered a letter to her pretty much every day and as soon as he came into the room she smiled, and once it landed she gently stroked the creature and took the letter from it's leg. "Thank you Iris..."

 

"who's it from?"Maddie asked

"Lake...its ok...it wasnt your fault."

 

"A friend..." Immy replied, the same reply she gave every time she was asked.

"It w-was..." She sobbed, hiding within the warm depths of the hood of the hoodie she'd been given the night before.

 

"Trust me...it wasnt...."he said "Lake we both knew my secret couldnt last forever...Jazmin was bound to find out sometime....and tell everyone...but honestly....I dont care anymore...as far as Im concerned,Im done with her....and I'll tell her that...today....and as for my 'friends' im done with them too....I dont need anyone but my family...and you."


she smiled,Immy was the only one who'd never really had a secret as far as she knew....Maddie decided to let her have this secret to herself

 

Lake blushed a deep shade of pink and withdrew further into the obscure shadow of the hood.

Immy carefully opened the letter and started to read it, the smile on her face growing a slight with every sentence.

 

"So dont blame yourself Lake..ok?"


Maddie yawned again

 

"I'm still sorry I put you in this mess you now have to sort out..."

Suddenly Casey bounded into the room in his pyjamas. It seemed the extra couple of hours sleep had filled him with far more energy then usual. "Why hello girls!" He grinned, stumbling to a halt.

 

"Im big enough to do it myself now"he grinned"dont worry..."

"Oh no..."Lyra muttered

 

"Okay..." Lake nodded slowly.

"What? Am I not allowed to be happen on this fine morning?" He asked, positively beaming.

 

"Come on....I smell breakfast"he grinned,jumping out of the bed,stumbling a little when his foot caught the duvet

"Have you had sugar again? are you hiding it in our room again?"

 

Lake giggled slightly, he could be so clumsy and times. It was quite cute.
Carefully she slid off the edge of the bed and pulled the sleeves of the hoodie over her hands.

"Nope, I just like being able to wake up when I want to rather then when work tells me to. If I'd had sugar you would know for sure."
