Lyra got out of bed,pulling a fluffy white robe around her

 

Casey took the opportunity to roll over and steal the rest of the duvet, rolling up in it like a giant blanketed caterpillar.

Lake was curled up on Mickey's bed, she looked so peaceful. It was a total change from the chaos of the night before. She looked so pretty in her sleep, so calm and so innocent.

 

she shook her head smiling,rolling her eyes"I can see where Michael gets it from"

Mickey was almost on the floor,mouth open as usual,one leg hanging off the bed....as was his head

 

"I'm not lazy..." Came a muffled voice from the depths of the duvet. "I not had more then five hours sleep every night this week..." Being a doctor at St Mungo's took it's toll on the blonde, he was frequently on call and often yanked from bed at unforgiving times of night.

Immy, who had been up for quite some time and was already dressed and fully awake, peered around Mickey's bedroom door. Now, most people would have Immy down as a quiet and well behaved child. And for the most part they would of been right, but there were times where the innocence gave way to her troublemaker genetics. In her hand there was a camera, carefully she drew it out from behind her back and she focused onto the two sleeping teens. Quickly she clicked the shutter and took a photograph of them, a mischievous grin spreading across her face as the flash filled the room.

 

she chuckled "You can sleep in then"she said"since Im Kind."she left their bedroom,"Immy? what are you doing?"

Mickey seeming undisturbed by the flash,shifte his weight on his bed slightly,as if to get comfortable

 

Immy squealed as she heard her mother's voice come down the hall at her. Quickly she scrabbled to hides the camera behind her back. "N-Nothing!" She squeaked.

 

she smiled"I know that guiltly look Imogen "she laughed,not seeming angry at all"what are you looking in Mich-oh!"she said seeing the two blondes"I thought he slept down stairs

"Apparently not." Immy replied. "What happened last night anyway?"

"some guy tried to attack Lake and...well...you know Mickey....so its easy to see how he reacted...now probably most of the school knows what he is"

 

"That isn't going to end well..." Immy said, her eyes widening in shock. "Well... At least it's only one more term for him. So it shouldn't be too bad."

 

"Alot can happen in one term....if I got one owl saying he's hit someone...his in big trouble"

 

"I'm sure Lake will keep him in check, and maybe his girlfriend too. Whatever her name is, I can't really remember." Immy said thoughtfully, twirling a strand of her golden blonde hair around her finger.

 

"If he even still has one."

 

"What do you mean?" Immy inquired, tilting her head slightly. "I though they were getting along well, for once."

At this moment Lake started to awaken, although from the distance of the hallway it wasn't really noticeable. Her eyes were barely open but she was fully concious of her surroundings in that surreal way that you are in the void between wake and sleep.

 

"That was when she didnt know what he was...."Lyra said sighing"and his.....friendship with Lake...it isnt unnoticeable how found he is of her...you have to be a idiot not to see it...."

 

"I hope everything sorts itself out, poor Lake has enough trouble with those girls without one of them wanting her dead..."

 

"I hope so too..."Lyra sighed"You Hungry Immy?"

Maddie came out then,like her brother,the mere mention of food,brought her from her comatoes sleep,she rubbed her eyes

 

Immy nodded. "Yeah..." She replied, a small smile on her face.

In Mickey's room Lake slowly sat up and rubbed her eyes. Her brain still processing what she'd heard.
