"So you two made up?" Conni asked suddenly appearing seemingly from nowhere "That's great... Now that's settled anyone seen Casey?" Her face was pure white and she looked as though she'd been trying to to cry for a while.

 

lily shook her head"no...sorry conni...ill help look"lily said

 

"I'm a complete freakin' geuinus... How do you lose a five year old?!" Conni cried as she franticly searched around "If he hasn't been kidnapped or somthing I'm going to kill him!" she growled as her fear gave way to anger.

Conni growled a little under her breath and walked out of the room muttering somthing along the lines of "I'm gonna go look the the little sh*t on the third floor now..." and shutting the door with a loud bang.

Casey was crouched down behind somthing in the same room as Lily and Conni, he was just going to jump out to try and scare them when Conni walked out slamming the door behind her. Boy is she mad... Casey giggled quitely. I'll just get Aunty Lilly first!
"BOO!" He screamed loudly at Lily and jumped out laughing

She sighed heavily and slumped down onto a nearby bench, "Well this is just great, my son is lost in a eight floored goverment building full of Dark Arts materials, jinxed muggle crap and dangerous people... And I can't find him anywhere!" Conni began to laugh, but instead of her usual high pitched giggle it was a quiet manic laugh that almost seemed to fill the room with the vibe of pure desperation that was eminating from her...

 

Cade was walking past Conni but didnt know it,he only faced her when he heard some maniac form of laughter and turned ot face her"..Conni,why are you laughing like that?''he asked,he wanted to say 'good to see you after 7 years' but hey,the creepy laugh always comes first
Mary hid behind Cade's leg again.

 

"Sorry... Very, very, very bad day..." She said he voice cracking but she was slowly calming down then she looked up to see who'd spoken "Cade?" She asked, not quite beliving it "Man, haven't seen you in like forever."

 

Cade laughed"..your still talking like an american cheerleader..cut that out...but anyway,why are you laughing like that?''he asked
Mary poked her head out to look closer at Conni,she waved shyly

 

"I'm not a cheerleader!" Conni laughed "Like I said I've not been having a great few days...or weeks...or months... Come to think of it, The last six years havn't been so great... And I just kinda lost it... I think" Conni waved back at Mary smiling a little "Your daughter?" She asked

 

Cade looked down at Mary"Oh yeah,this is my daughter alright..her names Mary Ann Granger''he said,he bent down and picked her up
Mary smiled shyly"..Hi''she said

 

"Hi Mary.I've got a son about your age..." Conni smiled at her, " She's so sweet."

 

Mary giggled
Cade smiled and looked around"..Where is he?''he asked

 

Conni sighed and hung her head "I dunno, he ran off while I was arguing with my dad... And I, being the fantasic mother I am, can't find him anywhere... We've been looking for an hour or somthing..."

 

Cade frowned"..Ouch...wait,isnt there something that can lure him out?..we could set up a trap and get him''he said

 

Conni laughed feably "I doubt it... He'll show up... What's worse is this isn't the first time he's done this to me... Sneaky little sh- kid..." she muttered, stopping herself from swearing, it's a lot harder to train yourself not to do it all the time.

 

Cade raised both eyebrows in surprise"...Wow...''he muttered,then held Mary closer"..Good thing me and Lauren were blessed with an Angel"he lookedat Mary
Mary blushed and hugged Cade

 

Conni laughed a little again "I got a little Malfoy, so what did I expect really?" she joked. "So you married Lauren?"

 

Cade smiled and nodded"...And you married...who?''he asked,he never really payed atention to Nort and didnt care about him enough to remember him.

 

"I'm umm, not married, not yet anyways..." She laughed nervously, rubbing the back of her head "Been engaged for like 8 years but never got married. Haven't got enough money..."

 

Cade laughed"Yeah right,the Malfoy's,poor?that's a good one"
