"really? atleast you've been at work...and im not too kine on james working n borgin and brooks....but i cant make him stop..."


"yeah maybe"he said grinning

 

"Wot cha doin'?" Kayla asked walking over.

"If I don't work I don't get paid. That means no money and that means we can't pay rent and we get kicked out." Elle sighed "And at least he's got a job he likes."

"So, now what?"

 

"playin' with will's hair."she said

"what do you wanna work as?'


"wanna go to the quittich shop?'

 

"I do that to Jamie." She smiled evily "He don't like it. Not one bit."

"I don't really know... I should of stayed in school really... Leaving after 6th year wasn't a good move..."

"Yeah!"

 

"will dont like it either....but he knows to stay were he is..."she said smiling

"well staying till 9th yr didnt really help me....an arour....but i cant work right now....i cant keep dumping this lot on my mum and dad...especailly since jordan does it too..."

"c'mon then...he said holding the door open again

 

"Jamie pulled my hair last time. So I tied him up with some string." She grinned proudly.

"Well, Casey can take care of Immy on his own so Mum and Dad don't have to worry about that. And the twins are still at school. But I kinda feel weird around them now, like I'm not quite one of them anymore..."

"Thanks." Jamie grinned as he ran through the door.

 

she grinned

"why not? you shouldnt feel like that..."she said

he grinned and shut the door behind him

 

"Mum was maaaaaaaaad." She giggled

"Well you can imagine how they took my news about Jamie... I didn't even tell them about Kayla and Karine. I got Casey to... And now I just feel out of place. They're so happy familes and I'm so... not..."

Jamie ran along ahead of Alex.

 

she giggled

"so you havent seen anyone?"


he smiled

 

"You know, Will don't 'ave much hair..."

"Christmas, birthdays, things like that. But I kinda feel out of place there now... I mean, I've become that sister... The one with all the kids but no partner... The one who struggles to pay rent... The drop out.... The black sheep..." She sighed brushing a tear away from her face. "I just never thought that'd be me..."

Jamie looked back at Alex with a grin.

 

"i know...."


"no one ever does..."


he grinned

 

"Jamie has though. I braided it once." She giggled

"I hate it, I really do..." She sighed, still trying to fight the overwhelming erdge to cry.

This is so cool and weird...

 

she giggled

"why dont you move back in with them or a mate?"

 

"I would but I can't face my parents... And none of my mates are in any position to take me and the kids in... Or if they are they're male and would want something..."

 

he stopped at the quittich shop

i could take you in...then you dont need to pay rent or anything...

 

"Mum won't let me in here very often..."

"I wouldn't want to be a pain... I'm sure you and James have enough trouble with your kids there without me and mine as well..."

 

"why not?"


"i dont mind....and im sure james wont either...we've got enough room..."

 

"To expensive..."

"I'm alright... I can manage... I have done so far right?"

 

"yeah.but if you find that you cant...just tell me and ill clear up rooms and you can stay if you want...it'll help right?'

"why? what did you want outta here?'

 

"Thanks Ly." Elle smiled weakly brushing brown hair away from her face "But I'm sure I can hold a while longer."

"Nothing in perticular... It's just all kinda expensive and she don't get much money really..."
