she gasped"But Im a loved accident? right?"

"So...your one of those people who cry at weddings?"

 

"I don't get how they haven't noticed each other noticing each other before." Immy said, stabbing her cake with her fork.

"Possibley." Casey chuckled in a teasing manner.

"Maybe, I don't really know. First wedding I've been too." Lake giggled nervously. "I've just been thinking a little too much, that's all."

 

"well...they do have their blonde moments...."he grinned

"Thats it dad...talk to the hand cos the face dont wanna know!"

"Yeah...I've been thinking too"

 

"In that case the last three years have been one big blonde moment."

"Alright then, in that case I'm off to glomp the relatives. See you." He grinned before vaulting over the table and vanishing off to tackle his siblings.

"What about...?" Lake asked, hoping to draw the topic of conversation away from herself. It'd only been a year since Mickey and Jazmin had split up, and he'd cared about her a lot, so it was too soon for any hope at all. Right?

 

"Are the mental assylums still saying no mum?"

"Unfortunatly"she laughed

Ronan grinned

"You."he said"Mostly."ther he was...doing his opening up to her thing again,sometimes he couldnt help himself

ooc-you know in the secrets rp? I was thinking that maybe Lyra tells elle because she can trust her,because Elle trusted lyra?

 

"Oh well." She said, eating some of the cake on her fork.

Lake blushed brightly. "Wh-Why...?"

He shrugged"Have done for the best part of three years..."he leaned against the balcony"is just today...Your in my head more....Is it so hard to guess why?"

Lake opened her mouth to speak, but she couldn't think of anything to say and promptly shut it again. The blush slowly darkened.

Lake's eyes widened and she looked up at him. And before she could think of a more eloquent response she blurted out: "I love you. More then anything."

OOC- Yay ^^ I haven't had a hair cut in aaaages, I really should. But I have really curly hair so it doesn't really show most of the time.

"You thought what...?" She asked, heart racing in embarrassment.

She shook her head.
Was this really happening? Was this all one wonderful, but heartbreaking, dream? It was too good to be true, nothing in her life that she'd wanted she'd ending up getting. Why would this be different? Maybe he's had too much to drink and thought it'd be funny? Maybe one of his cousins put him up to it? They were a rather cruel bunch at times after all.

 

He glanced down at the water,she said she loves me....nobody outside the family has ever said that to me....it feels....good.

 

"Truth is Mickey I've never just thought of you as mate..." Lake mumbled, looking away in that way she always did when she was about to say something that the possible consequences off terrified her. "I just resigned myself to thinking that's all we could be... I mean, you're popular and I spent most of my school life so far under the radar the teachers didn't even notice me, You're ridiculously good looking and I'm average at best... And you always had Jazmin..."

 

"Lake....your not average looking....your.."he thought for a moment"You always look amazing,Lake,your beatuiful,"

 

Lake blushed a more vibrant shade of red then she had ever done in her life. "I-I-I'm re-really no-not..." She managed to stammer out.

 

"You have got to stop putting yourself down Lake,have you seen yourself today?

 

Lake folded her arms in front of her and nervously brushed her hair behind her ear. "I look like nothing compared to everyone else here..."
