"Just havent gotten over the shock of batman is gonna be my brother-in-law....out of everyone in school...she picks him..."he rolled his eyes

"See,Grandpa your really the only one who disagrees...well you and Grandpa Harry...and Mickey...though Mickey's being smart and keeping his mouth shut."

"Where is he anyway?"Lily said

"Probably with Lake"she giggled

 

"Well your sister seems happy, and that's all that really matters. Right?" Lake said, putting a supportive hand on his arm.

"Lake's the werewolf girl isn't she?" Conni enquired.

 

"Yeah."he said


"Yep,shes the one."Maddie said"Mickey 'doesnt' like her"she rolled her eyes using air quotes" shes 'just a friend.'"

 

"If he makes her happy then that's all that important."

"Ahhh, that one." Conni nodded. She glanced over at them for a moment before looking back at the people in her conversation. "I bet you money now that they'll be together by the end of the day."

 

"I keep telling myself that."


"He probably will....he's never away from here since Jazmin dumped him....its like he's glued to her hip"

 

"It's the truth." She smiled.

"Aww, bless him." Conni giggled.

 

he smiled back

he so protecive as well..Like once Ronan was having a joke with her and he gave her a weak little shove...and Mickey nearly took his face off...its cute though.."

 

Lake giggled slightly. "Should we head in soon?"

"Oh bless." Conni giggled. "Though the girl does look so easily breakable..."

"At that age mum, so did you." Casey commented as he walked over, brushing a hand through his long golden hair.

 

"Yep"He said

Maddie giggled

"Ohh Maddie..the ring's so pretty"Zarrah said"wish I had a ring like that...but dad says Im not getting married"

"Nope.she's taking care of me when Im frail and old."Jordan laughed


"anyone seen Lake?"

 

"Damn I wish I'd thought of that." Casey chuckled. "It would of saved me a lot of money on this damn wedding."

"Last I saw of her she was outside." Immy said, looking up briefly from her plate of cake.

Lake, like Immy said, was indeed outside. She was leaning against the balcony railing gazing up at the crescent moon. There were tears sparkling in her large, emerald eyes. The whole wedding thing of happy couples and celebrating love had gotten to her. As pretty much everyone was aware, apart from Mickey himself, she was completely and utterly in love with him. And spending the day with him surrounded by so many happy, lovey-dovey couples had finally taken it's toll on her. The heartache just got too much.

 

"Cheepskate."Maddie muttered

Mickey got up,walking towards the doors

"Think he's gonna?"


"He's gonna...you can tell by the look on his face"

 

"I am not, you're just very expensive." Casey chuckled.

"What do you two mean?" Immy asked, tilting her head.

Lake looked down to the water below where there was the reflection of the moon rippled. Quickly she wiped her face to stop the tears falling and joining the water of the lake.

 

"should've thought of that before you had children then"

Ronan grinned"we mean Tell Lake he's into her."

"Into her's not the words I'd use...obessed...in love with...anywas you know people get at weddings...all emotional and soppy...Mickey's no different."

"Lake?"

 

"Well I didn't have a whole lot of time to think."

"Oh! Finally! It's about time." Immy giggled.

"Huh? Oh! Hello." Lake said, quickly wiping her face again and turning around to face the tall blonde.

Ronan laughed

"You ok?"

 

"What with you two being accidents and all." He smirked.

"They've been dancing around each other how long now?"

"Y-Yeah... F-Fine..." She stammered out, continuing to wipe her face as fresh tears fell from her sparkling eyes.
