Man, it's like what I've been saying for awhile but it's more true because Spongebob and tumblr, right?
Why would that be a cause for jubilation? It reinforces that logic and reasoning don't sway people, but appealing to their nostalgia, familiarities, and trends will.
Let's be realistic about 80% of the games in that image have been around for over half of the modern console era Not a knock against them by any means but not being into Nintendo for the nostalgia is like not being into cuban sandwiches for the ham and pork
I can't find a single game this refers to. Yeah, liking them only for their expertly crafted games is too much I guess =P
Your fault. Also, man that Crash Bandicoot didn't make an appearance on the PS2/GC/Xbox or anything.. Resident Evil... MGS... Man, they stayed on one gen and one gen only BALL SO HARD. Actually, I think nostalgia is the cheese or the pickles. It's either what makes or breaks the deal, but really the main contender on the sandwich is the meat. The toppings attract people because they're in the mood to have a sandwich topped with that, not so much wanting the sandwich part. Even if it's true that people play Nintendo mainly for Nostalgia (it is), doesn't mean I have to get on board and support it. Though at this point, I think their handheld market has escaped nostalgia. 3DS is half smart buy, and half pokemon trending.
