Kingdom Hearts II Hints towards Xion in KH2?

I think it could have been Xion during Roxas' awakening as well. It's not the mind that the awakening takes place in, but the heart (which can be seen in BBS as well in the intro to Ventus' story as only half of his heart is filled). But if it is true that Xion was absorbed into the heart of Roxas at the end of Days, then it could well be a memory of Xion in his heart.

 

Yeah I noticed that, too! When I was making an amv with Sora and Roxas and included those scenes. I thought it may have been a glitch... But I don't think they could make a silly mistake like that! But usually they would've explained somehting like that already.... Hmmm
My theory is that it is Xion there as well, because the Awakening pillars are a state of mind that Sora, Roxas and even Ven go into. Like a dream world. And since Xion is in Roxas, she might also have access to his Awakening world.

 

this is interesting discussion... however I think there is no trace of xion in KH2, was days developed concurrent with KH2?

This is like the case of Fire emblem sword of seal and fire emblem blazing sword.

the latter, though it was published as sequel, it was actually prequel of the first game. The protagonist of the first game (Roy) has possibility of having dragon blood since his father in his prequel (Eliwood) most possibly married by half-dragon girl (Ninian). However there is no single trace that Roy has dragon blood in the game since the backstory is established years later.

I read somewhere that Nomura got the idea of Xion whilst developing KH2, I can't remember if it was near the end or what. I think he had the idea of Days as a game but then decided to add Xion, that's why they're called Organisation XIII- there was originally only 13 members until Nomura decided to change it. It is possible that he thought her up and decided to add a few random hints about the place like the image of Namine's but I can't be sure- it could just be one of the other ideas that Bueno said. I think these are hints toward Xion, just before her whole character and storyline was thought up.

 

in kh2fm when riku is at the top of the skyscraper and going down he looks at roxas remembering xion even thoug roxas already had forgoten her name

Axel: Axel's coat is cut close to his arms, unlike in the first image where the sleeves are full and loose. Also, Axel's build is taller and slimmer than the figure in the first image.

Roxas: Roxas' sleeves are full and loose, the same as the figure in the first image. Also, Roxas' is similar to the build of the figure in the first image.

Xion: Xion's sleeves are full and loose, like the figure in the first image. However, her build is slimmer than the figure in the first image.

THE VERDICT

Roxas is Guilty of being the Organization member in the first image. His build and coat style are almost identical to the figure. Therefore, the figure was presented there as a memory of his Organization days.

Axel and Xion are innocent of being the figure in the first image.

Roxas gets no sentence for his guilt.

ANYWAYS, TO THE EVIDENCE:

Roxas: The evidence has already been given.

Riku: The court has found similarities between the figure in the first image and the picture of Riku when he was using Ansem's body, mainly in sleeve width, shoulder width and cloak style. The height of the figure in the first image is unknown, due to differing perspectives. However, Riku's waist when he was using Ansem's body is slightly smaller than the figure in the first image's waist.

THE VERDICT

Roxas continues to be guilty of being the figure in the first image.

Riku is innocent of all charges.

Roxas continues to recieve no sentence for his guilt.

That is all.
