Jules showed Mary her mp3 player. "I've put some new stuff on it. You might even like some of the tracks. Want to listen?"

 

"Time for chemistry." he thought, walking in the room.

 

Jules entered the history classroom and heard the whispers so she ignored them She wasn't going to let those idiots ruin her day. She noticed that they both looked a bit battered and none of them were wearing make up. She held her head up and sat on the opposite side of the room. She noticed that some of the other students were whispering about them and giggling. Someone waved to Jules and Mary, beckoning them. This had not happened before. It seemed the photo had leaked out.

 

He took his seat and heard whispers. All he could make out was "Clint", "Jules", and "yearbook."

 

"What songs you got on it then?" Mary asked waking her self up

 

One of the girls walked up to Jules. She sat next to her and looked down. Jules felt a wave of fear but it soon passed.

"I never knew what it was like to be so picked on before. You turned the tables on us really well. Now you are cool and we're the outcasts. I'm sorry that we made your life so bad. I don't want to be like the others any more."

Jules knew the type. She was just scared of being rejected and so copied the 'cool' kids. Jules didn't really trust her. So they were getting a taste of being the ones being laughed at. Jules thought that this little lesson would be the best for them. She wanted the to understand how their actions affected others.

Jules had a yearbook thrust in her hands. "One of the first copies, fresh from printing."

 

Some random person handed him a yearbook.

 

"Oi you lot unless you don't want another black eye from me bugger off and leave Jules alone" Mary said, she knew the girls well and it was clear she wasn't friends with them

 

"I think they've learned a lot today. There is a mixture on there, Evanescence, Linkin Park, some dance stuff and some classic rock. Have a listen."

 

He handed the yearbook back and said "I don't want this."

 

"Ohh got Bring me to life on here?" Mary asked as that was on of her fave songs

 

Jules sat forward as the teacher entered. She felt happy and confident in class today and she knew exactly what she would do her history project on. She would base it on the Suffragists. That would be a good subject.

She wondered how Clint was doing and hoped no one was picking on him.

 

He was so excited about his date with Jules, he couldn't concentrate. He accidentall mixed the contents of two test tubes and it exploded in his face, making it black.

 

Jules worked hard and started to work on the project. She was surprised at how much she was getting done. She would be able to finish it easily and that meant she could spend more time with Clint. She stuffed the yearbook in her bag. Her parents wanted to see it. At least she wouldn't be the worst person in there.

 

Knocks on the history class door"Hello I'm the new student Tacole, I just got here"
The teacher points to an empty desk."Ok, thanks"Goes sit down.

 

Clint tried to wipe off the black on his face, but it wouldn't come off!

 

"Hi Tacole. Want any help with your project? It's an open subject one so you can pick anything in history that you are interested in."

 

"Such as an Expose of the Gettysburg Adress? Or a sculpture of George Washington's head?"Tacole exclaimed.

 

"That sounds great. I'm doing about Suffragists. I think the sculpture one might be a bit hard though. Why not do the expose?"

 

Clint couldn't go on a date looking like this! Jules would laugh at him!
