"I'm no hero." he said, not looking at her. "If I hadn't come here, you wouldn't have fallen. If I hadn't suggested we skip school, you wouldn't have gotten in trouble and been grounded in the first place! I'm no hero."

 

"I was planning to escape anyway. I'm just glad I'm with you. Please don't feel bad."

Jules wanted to hold him and make him realise how important he was.

 

Tears formed in his eyes and he smiled at her. "Thank you." he said.

 

She held his hand. Clint was someone she would happily take risks for. If only he could see himself as she saw him.

 

"Alright, we're here." I stop the car and help them out.

 

He brought her hand up to his lips and kissed it. "You're going to be fine." he whispered. He got out and picked her up.

 

Jules felt safe in Clint's arms. She realised how dedicated Clint was to her. She would defend him from as much as she could.

Jules would face her parents about him when she got back. She would make them see how they had misjudged Clint.

 

"Don't worry. I have everything covered. I locked your door on the inside and put a sleeping tape in for ya. They will never know. Not to mention I have the hospital bill."

 

"You thought of everything didn't you?" Nicole asked...She opened the door for the others...

 

"Thank you Roku. You are a good friend. I don't know how I'm going to repay you."

Jules clung to Clint.

"I have great friends."

 

"You don't have to. I think alot when I get worried. She is already in as much trouble as it is. If she gets discovered, I have that covered as well."

 

"Thank you." he said, carrying her inside, "Both of you." He was lucky to have such great friends and a beautiful girlfriend.

 

Nicole walked in with the others, but when she looked over at a pharmacy desk, she saw her father picking up a perscription...
"Oh no," she said...She hid behind Roku...
"Act like I'm ot here," she said quietly...

 

"um....Alright." I then slowly walk to the hallway where he cannot see us.

 

Jules heard the others leave.

"Be careful Clint. Nicole's dad is here. I don't want you to be hurt" she whispered.

"I just heard Nicole say so."

 

"Don't worry Jules." he said, "I can take him if he tries anything."

 

Jules was sat in the reception area waiting to see a doctor. She hoped that Nicole's dad would leave them alone. She hated the idea of Clint having to fight to defend them. She wanted to be seen and then go home. It was a pity that Clint couldn't stay with her longer.

 

Clint took a seat in the waiting room and waited.

 

Christian marched into the hospital. He was looking for Nicole. He saw Clint sat with Jules.

"What's happening here? Who did this?"

 

"No one did it." he said, "She fell and hit her head while she was sneaking out to see me."
