"So you guys are dating now? I think that's the best news yet. I think you guys are cute together."

 

"He doesn't have it anymore." said Clint, pulling out the knife. "He attacked me and I took it from him." He turned to Jules. "There were a couple of things I wanted to ask you." he said to her. He looked at the others and said "In private."

 

"Um, ok. It sounds a bit ominous. Are you ok? he didn't hurt you when you took the knife did he?"

Jules looked concerned and followed Clint. What did he have to ask that was so private?

 

"No, I'm fine. This has nothing to do with Nicole's dad." he said when they were far enough away. "Actually I wanted to ask you if you could model for my Art class next period. If you don't have anything better to do, that is. You see, we are doing portraits and we need a model. So I thought you might want to. It's okay if you don't, though.

 

"I have a free period so yeah, I'd love to. I've never been a model before. Uh, I get to stay clothed, ok?"

Jules wondered what she had just agreed to. She wouldn't normally have been brave enough to say yes, but she knew Clint would look after her.

 

Christian could easily over-hear things, so he then said, "model? man, I thought you were gonna ask her out, and thank you, Jules for thinking that we look cute together,"

 

"Hey! Mind your own business!" he yelled at Christian. He turned back to Jules. "Oh yeah, you get to keep your clothes on. Also," he said, blushing a little, "I was wondering if you might want to, um...uh...go out with me?" He almost whispered this last part.

 

"I would love to" she whispered, blushing slightly as well. Jules couldn't believe it. Clint was so cool and she wasn't, it was as simple as that. She smiled. "I'll be there in your Art Class, no worries."

 

"HA!I KNEW IT!!!HECK YEAH!!I WAS RIGHT!!w00t!!!" Christian said from afar rofling.

 

"Thanks." he said, smiling. He made sure no one was watching, then kissed her on the cheek. "See you later!" he said, walking to his locker.

 

Christian's head exploded from all the laughter, with blood going everywhere.

 

Clint, still blushing, walked past Christian and whacked him upside the head, saying "Shut up!"

 

"okay, okay, im sorry! God..."

 

Jules followed Clint to the Art Class. She kicked Christian as she passed.
"That's for embarrassing Clint."

 

He smiled as he got to his locker. He took out his drawing pencil and his sketch pad. "I did it!" he thought to himself, "I asked her to go out with me and she said YES!!" He was so happy, he wanted to dance, but he was able to restrain himself.

 

Jules dumped her books in her locker and smiled to herself. Clint wanted her to be his model in Art and he had asked her out. He had even kissed her on the cheek. She was so excited that she could barely stop herself from hugging him.

 

He walked over to her. "Are you ready?" he asked.

 

"Whenever you are." She smiled at him and followed him. Suddenly she really liked school.

 

"Cool!" he said. He took her to his class and said "Hey guys! This is Jules and she's going to model for us!"

 

"Uh, hi guys!" Jules felt a little awkward, but knew that she would be ok. Clint would be in the class so everything was ok.
