"You caught me." he said. "I pulled out because I don't want to kiss anyone but you."

 

"You really shouldn't worry. I know I'm the only one you care about. That's the challenge of acting. What did you tell the teacher?" Jules slid her arm around him in support.

"I simply told him I couldn't do it." he said.

"Oh Clint you are a romantic!" Jules shuffled closer to him so that she could be as near to him as possible. She loved everything he did.

 

He leaned closer to her and put his head on her shoulder.

 

Jules wondered if his drama classes were always like this. He seemed to be so in control. She watched the acting but guessed that Clint was probably much better. He had real emotion and was much better looking.

 

After the class, he said "I have a free period next."

 

"then so do I. It seems that we are destined to be together, even at school." Jule hugged him and sneaked a kiss.

 

He smiled and blushed a little.

 

"So where do you want to go for your free period? Library, outside, anywhere? I don't mind taking you."

 

"Anywhere is fine." he said, "We are together and that is all that matters."

 

"Well the weather is great so lets sit outside. I'll be right next to you. I have been instructed to look after you and I fully intend to do just that."

 

He smiled and said "Sounds good to me!"

 

Jules spread her coat on the ground. "Can you get down here or shall I grab a bench?" She looked at him with concern.

 

"I can do it." he said, getting down from his wheelchair.

 

Jules helped him sit down. She sat next to him and put her arm around him. "I love you."

 

"I love you too." he said, putting his arm around her.

 

Jules leaned against him. He was so brave. She closed her eyes.

 

He smiled and kissed her forehead.

 

"Thank you for being so wonderful."
