Clint didn't see any of this, since he left after she thanked him. He went to the mall and saw Jules, Christian, and Zero already there. He got off and said "Hey guys. Sorry if I made you all wait."

 

"Well, we're waiting for Clint. What do you mean, my boyfriend , Christian?"

Jules blushed and looked at her feet.

 

-I walked into my room....I got soo mad...I ran over to my mirror to see where my father slapped me..IT was purple...I started to cry..I decided to take a chance..I grabbed my purse, jumped out the window into our big oak tree...I then ran down the road really fast.....I met up at Mcdonalds out of breath...I went in and saw everyone...-

 

"Hey its nicole"Zero said running to her "Why do you have a bruise on your face" Zero asked

 

"You OK Nicole? It looks like someone hit you hard. Come and sit down. I'll see if they'll give me some ice for that."

Jules wandered to the counter and came back with some ice.

"Who hit you?"

 

"It's nothing," I said with my voice cracking...I tried wiping off my tears beofre anyone saw them....

 

"remember?you said to Nicole..." Christian paused then started again in a mimick voice." If you tell me who you like, then I'll tell you who I like, k?" he paused again. "I like...Zero!"

 

"It's not nothing. It's ok, you can tell us."

Jules hugged Nicole.

 

Christian knew she was slapped, and her necklace was taken away. "It was you dad, right?" He said in a sly voice.

 

"Are you sure your ok nicole" Zero asked wrapping the ice in a napkin "Here put it on that way you wont freeze your hands touching the ice" Zero said smiling > ^_^

 

I slowly nodded...letting a few tears slip away....
"Don't let me ruin your fun...." I said trying to smile, but my cheek hurt too much to smile.

 

"Its ok you wont spoil it thats what friends are for" Zero said still smiling ^_^

 

I suddenly ran out of the entrence, and went to the road and house you lived. "gotta get in and get out!" I said to myself, I climed up the tree and tiptoed to the hidden necklace, grabbed it, and jumped out of the window, landing perfectly on the ground, then I ran back. "h-here" I said panting. "happy?"

 

"It's ok Nicole, we're here for you, just as Zero said. You'll be ok with us. You haven't ruined anything and you never will."

 

"Y-You went back...and got it for me?" I asked as he put it in my hand....I wiped away my tears....
"Thanks," I said softly to everyone...


"Let's hit the mall..." I said...

 

Zero looked around and suddely remembered something "I thought you were grounded" Zero said to nicole

 

Clint felt terrible. "I should have stayed." he said, "I might have been able to prevent it from happening."

 

"She ran away" Jules whispered to Zero.

"Lets hit the mall, that's a great idea. Where do you want to go first?"

 

Zero looked at Juels "IM up for anything" Zero said then muttered under his breath "Dont go shoe shopping..im tired of carring the bags"

 

"I'll go anywhere...just as long as my parent's can't find me..." I said...

It would've happened anyways....Last year, I got kicked in the ribs after my dad pushed me down infront of my best friend..." I said
