High School <3 - Living up the Teenage Years

"I-I did!?" he said. "I-I'm sorry. I don't know why, but once in a while, I do that. I have no idea why, though. Trust me, I would never do that on purpose. I like you, alot, but I'm willing to just be friends if it makes you happy. I value your friendship more than anything."

 

She looked down, almost teary in her eyes.
"I've got a past... I've been told that so many times, and yet, it's always a lie," she said.

 

"Believe what you want, but I'm telling the truth." he said. "Just ask Lexi, there was a time I had a crush on her."

 

She shook her head.
"I can believe what I want... I'm always going to think it's a lie. I can't trust anyone anymore. Not even myself," she said.

 

He wanted to turn his head to hide his tears, but the neck brace prevented that, so he lay there crying a little. "I'm sorry to hear that." he said, feeling his heart shatter.

 

She looked away, crying also.
"No... it's not your fault," she whispered.

 

"It doesn't matter." he said. "I care about you."

 

"How dare you care about me," she struggled to say. She stood up. She wanted to slap him across the face. It was disrespectful to her. Her country voice was becoming more noticeable.
"Now you listen here. I'm not one to care about, after a day of knowing them. You can't just do that to me!" she shouted, grabbing her jacket and rushing out the room angry.

 

He cried more, whispering "But that's just how I am."

 

She went down to the lobby, and to the gift shop. She didn't like to be angry. She sighed and walked to the cafeteria.
"Two vanilla milkshakes," she said to the cashier. She got them and then headed back up to the room with Cliff.
"I got you a milkshake," she said, sitting next to the bed, unable to stay mad at him.

 

He was shocked at her sudden change. "Y-you did?" he asked.

 

Lexi stepped out of the room to let them talk. She was walking around the hospital cause she was bored.

 

She shrugged and sat down.
"I can't stay mad," she said, getting up and holding the milkshake for him near his lips.
"It's vanilla," she said, smiling.

 

"Thanks." he said, starting to drink it, his cheeks turning a faint shade of red.

OOC: And don't give me any crap saying guys don't blush, that's not true. I blush sometimes, especially when I'm near a girl I like.

 

Ryo was still at school doing his school work

BIC:
She smiled and held the cup for him.
"So, will you be okay for the Cancun trip?" she asked.

 

OOC: It is! I'm very manly and I blush! D:<

BIC: He swallowed what was in his mouth and said "I don't know. The doctors said I don't have any broken bones, but my arm might be sprained. Also, my neck is killing me, and they're making me wear this neck brace so I can't move my head."

 

"Oh," was all she could say. She frowned and looked to the side.

 

"But don't worry." he said. "I'm a fast healer, I should be good enough to go."

 

She still frowned.
"That's good." She said, then walked to the seat to sit down.
