High School <3 - Living up the Teenage Years

"Get away from me!" she yelled, running out of the hospital doors.

 

Seth looked at the doors confused at what just happend "um okay?" Seth said

 

"What's wrong?" he asked her, still following her. "Don't you remember me? It's Cliff! We were hanging out earlier!"

 

She breathed hard and tripped over her feet. She tripped in the parking lot, almost getting hit by a car. She gasped, trying to remember what was going on.

 

He helped her up and said "You've got to be careful."

 

She looked at him, in awe.
"I remember, a little now," she said softly.
Suddenly she saw her father now pulling in.
"Uh oh," she gasped, running into the building. He still hadn't saw her yet.

 

He ran after her, glad she could remember now, even if it was only a little.

 

She stopped at the receptionist.
"I'd like to check out of here. Just tell my doctor an emergency popped up and that i'm okay," she said, slapping the desk once before turning and heading back.
"Cliff, I got to go... Tell everyone they can go home, and not to worry about me. I'll talk to you at school tomorrow," she said, then headed outside.

 

"Wait." he said. "Can't I go with you?"

 

Lexi followed Cliff and Jessica. "Hey Jess. Would you mind if I took you home?" She asked her as she held Cliff by his shoulder.

 

"My dad's here though... He'll take me home..." she said, frowning. She couldn't tell them that she couldn't be seen with them near her dad. She turned and saw her dad at the front of the hospital. She walked over.
"I'm ready to go home," she said, then walked out, only to be followed by him.

 

He sighed, upset.

 

Lexi rubbed his back, "alright, let's get you home" She said before starting to walk to the parking lot.

 

Seth walked up to the counter and gave the receptionist a report on how the patients were doing and walked out of the hospital still wondering about what just happened

 

"Okay." he said, a little down in the dumps.

 

Alaric was already in the car and Lexi went to sit in the passenger seat. They dropped Cliff at his house. "It'll be okay," Lexi said to him, "Don't worry about it so much. Don't do anything you would regret"

 

"Yeah." he said, sighing. "That was probably the worst date in the history of dating.

 

"It was a date? I thought it was just hanging out. Look all I'm saying is, you're freaking her out by moving so forward. Why not just start out as friends?" She said to him. "Do you want me to stay with you? We both can" She said smiling.

 

"Thanks for the offer." he said. "But I can't be with him right now. I'm still really upset from what he said."
