Hidden daughter

Larxene was confused. Why did all the organization members act this way to her? Did she smell bad? Was there something on her face? She pulled her delicate fingers up and caressed her cheek, to wipe off anything. A strand of her blonde hair fell in front of her face. She frowned and pulled it back.
"Is something wrong? Is my appearance disturbing to you?" she asked, not in a mad or a sad way, just enough to let her know she was curious without anger.

 

Demyde shook his head, blonde hair swishing back and forth across the top of his forehead. "No, it's just that I'm in a hurry to get to the library." He smiled, this time he wasn't that scared. He didn't think she looked intimidating, in fact, after losing the anxoiusness, he thought she was kind of pretty. He blushed a tiny bit, mostly from embarrasment. "Sorry if I made you upset."

Demyx looked up from playing and said, "Now, you c-." He stopped when he saw that Demyde was gone. Sighing, he muttered, "Well, can't stop a teen from doing what they want. He'll have to do it on his own time."

 

Larxene smiled, seeing his smile. So she wasn't intimidating him after all. It made her non-existing heart glow her with a radiance.
"Do you mind if I tagged along, I was needing to do a little research on lightning, I may have found a new technique," she said, using her soft tone. Her thin lips hooked and formed a small crease as another smile glowed on her light face.

Demyde grin was stile on his face, white teeth sparkling. "Yeah, sure." He started to walk off, small chains clinking against the robes of his black organization uniform.

 

Larxene's eyes glistened and she followed him, about a few feet away from his heels. She heard the clanking of chains and the heavy footsteps of their organization boots.

 

Pushing open the towering library doors, Demyde was greeted by a sudden silence besides a hushed whisper and the turning of crinkled pages. Not many people were in there, just as Demyde liked it. He turned to Larxene, tail of the cloak swirling in a obsidion colored dance behind him as he said, "Well, here we are. Good like with the research."

 

Her smiled filled up her gentle face once more.
"Thank you," she said, her tone subtle. She walked into the large library and looked around the book shelves for something on lightning and the flow of the electricity.

 

VIx was still in the library reading a book



Zexion finished his book and left the room​

 

Demyde saw Zexion leave the library before he turned to the bookshelves lined with dusty pieces of literature from the ceiling to the floor. He reached a hand and ran a slender finger along the coarse spines of the books. He stopped at one labeled, "The art of water magic." He wanted to prove his dad that he didn't have to play a boing ol' sitar to fight. He picked up the violet, faded book and sat down next to Vix. Flipping open the cover, a detailed drawing of a man, who looked in his forties, with his hands clapsed together and a large, roaring wave of sea green above his head, was drawn above a caption about the history of the fighting of water magic.
