So for sculpture, we have to make these things where they portray an emotion. Like, for the emotion happy, you'd make a smiley face. Or for love, you'd make a heart. But my teacher thinks that's rather elementary school so we have to do better things.

I came up with the idea of stressed, and portraying it by having someone with the world on their shoulders. But I need nine other ideas and I'm completely at a loss of what others I can do. :c

    plz help <3

Oh, and it's subtractive sculpture, so nothing with tiny little things that could possibly break off, because if anything breaks, I have to start over.

You could have stressful things e.g. homework sheets and parents etc. with sticks (or better) battering someone.

You could have someone being squashed by a huge textbook

Someone falling over the stressful objects.

    OR something else.

Fire maybe? or say someone grinding their teeth? or a cooked egg. (though, that might be for anger, but then agian, they tend to go hand in hand)

    :c

The emotion doesn't just have to be stressed. It can really be any emotion.

For death, you can draw a horocrux (shot multiple times in the head).

For love you could show someone bleeding helping up someone who just tripped over. Or just two people hugging, or someone offering someone a love heart and the people are both 3D black stick people and the love heart is red so it stands out.

Hmm... We have a similar project for my sculpture class. I used that idea too, we have to make it out of poster board so I made two abstract arms and hands one of them holding a knife and put fire behind it. Another was an abstract of animals running from a wildfire, and I made the ground cracked. Just make abstracts of stressful things, using shapes etc.

For greed you could do a large stack of coins crushing a man underneath them. Not sure if greed counts as an emotion though. It does in my opinion, but your teacher may not think so.
    But spiders are cute!
