I was cleaning out my mom's car earlier and I found a Canadian nickle. Elizabeth II on one side, and...a beaver on the other. o.o

Anyone mind telling me why the beaver's on there?

One reason: The beaver is a national simbol of canada. So is the loon, but they used it for our loonie. so instead the beaver was put there.
