hmm ya maybe it ties the bind between how ven became to be.

 

OKay, first of all, I'm amazed you even remember this stuff.

Second....that one did interest me. I thought it had to do with his childhood, maybe where he grew up or where he came from.

Well, firstly Kairi´s heart was inside Sora. Seeing the random castle made Kairi´s heart remember the castle of Hollow Bastion. So it was actually Kairi´s memory, not Sora´s.

 

That's probably true, seeing as after he says that the place looks familiar he says he's never been off the island, so yes it's probably Kairi's heart inside him remembering Hollow Bastion, seeing as Kairi was born in Radiant Garden ^^

Emblemdered is right : It's NOT the Clock Tower, it's Hollow Bastion's castle.

Kairi's heart was inside Sora, and Kairi once lived in Hollow Bastion. So when Sora saw the castle, Kairi's heart reacted, and made Sora react as well.

Remember : Sora felt the same way when he arrived at Hollow Bastion later on.

Only question is how a slide showing that castle got into Deep Jungle...

 

Ah yes, memories. There's a high possibilitie this has to do with Ven. o: Since Ven already has been in Hollow Bastion, or where ever that place was..it could have bring up old memories of him due to his connection with Sora. :o

 

i doubt that they would have the whole ven thing planned alrdy. i think it's pretty much that remember how kairi was inside sora like her heart was in him or sumthing like that? yeah kairi used to live in hollow bastion/radiant garden so since kairi's heart is in sora, the memories would kind of "go" to sora and he would remember things kairi saw


but then again u never know, it could be stuff with ven =]

 

I doubt they really planned anything of that magnitude in Kingdom Hearts 1. Kingdom Hearts 2 is the only place where they have hints at future games, other than the blatant "I've got to save Riku!"

You knew there was going to be a sequel to KH1, but there were absolutely no hints about Ven or Nobodies or anything. Playing KH2 and really looking at it, you can find tons of hints of later games.

It's Kairi's heart. All the way. As to how it got into Deep Jungle, how did Alice get into Wonderland? Sometimes...you don't need a gummi.
