You've definitely improved your skills over a year with shadowing and coloring. It's really good and I think the fact that you chose to do a remake really does show how much you improved so that's really cool!

I agree! You've improved quite a lot really!

The lines have gotten a lot cleaner and style over-all has improved. Coloring and shading are nicely done as well.
However, i think you could have improved more on making it more 3-dimensional. Like, how the head is angled and the face parts too. Also the lighting, I'm struggling here too ; n ; i'm kind of confused where it's coming from.

But your art is super cute! And it's really great! You should post more in this section n___n ~
