Heroic Sanction OOC/Discussion

A couple of quick things:
A) Sorry for being absent for a while, everyone. My two weeks of straight working turned into three weeks with only two days off. Not to mention, I've had to close at 11pm and open at 5am the next day twice and even come in twice a day, do a catering job (I'm not a trained catering person), and change my schedule so I can learn a new area at work. Reason being that a couple of people have quit at work and the slack was placed on me. Good news that my name got put in for two different promotions at work because I was the only one willing to work 8D. Bad news is that I've been so tired that the few hours I spend at home, I've spent asleep. I've had so little energy that I actually had to sleep at work when I was off because I didn't had the energy to make it home. Secondary reason being that I was laptopless for a few days (had to send it away to repair the power button). Unfortunately, this may keep happening for at least another week, but I'm trying to get online as much as possible.

B) As of now, there are 9 active Allies (Runner, Apostle, Spirit, Dragonness, Alice, Shadow, Enerjak, Phantom, Aerodaemon). There is an unseen Ally which rounds it up at 10. I'm going to cap it at...12 for now. I will add this as a rule.

C) Adding the part about permission to use your characters as another rule~

Ooohh, I like the power set. However, here are a few things that we need to clarify about your post before I accept you.
1. I can't tell if your character is meant to be an Ally or Rogue. It seems like you used the Supervillain OC Form, but your form states "Superhero Alias" instead of "Supervillain Alias." Your form also includes "Archnemesis from Sanction," but doesn't mention your character doing anything overtly illegal, evil, or bad.
2. Your powers work and I like them. As for the equipment, where does he get them? You can be creative with them, but he has to have a legitimate way of obtaining them (keeping in mind his age and resources). If he is an Ally, his equipment can be supplied by AEGIS, for example. Also: do his frisbees do anything special or are they just concussive weapons (i.e., actual frisbees)?
3. If your character is a Rogue, he must have a specific Arch Nemesis from the Sanction (the entire Sanction does qualify, but your character doesn't really fit the bill for an enemy that they would fight together).
4. I just added in two new rules (Rules 10 and 11) so please make sure you read all of the rules and answer Rule 10.

Real Name and Superhero Alias: (Everyday) Axel DaSilva, (Alter-ego) Ze Operator
Age and Appearance: (Everyday) a black haired, brown-eyed 15 year old who usually wears red and black,
(Alter-ego) Wears a white smiling mask and a red headband. Has a flaming hoodie with a four-point star necklace, has black exercise gloves and khaki pants with black loose-fitting belt. Mask has covered eyelids, preventing identification.
Biography and Personality: Axel's life was a happy one. He lived with two parents who both loved the only child, he had some good friends, and got good grades. But after a few school bullies killing his girlfriend, Axel's mind permantly snapped and he became mute, swearing in his mind to make the bullies suffer. His anger gained him a dormant ability that had been born with him, allowing him to minorly reverse or speed up his actions. He killed of the bullies one by one, until he made the last one commit suicide. By then, he had already been called at school as the "Silent Accuser". He left his school before his junior year after being attacked by a rouge Beyonder, apparently insane, just to protect those he loved. Axel almost never survived the attack. He took up the name "Ze Operator", and not a day goes by as he rarely backs down from protecting random individuals from gangbangers. He never really speaks, but will do anything in his power to make those who oppose him suffer the worst painful hell. Is very smart, physically active, and resourceful (See Other).
Powers and Equipment: Has two known abilities and a vast array of equipment; Has the minor manipulation of time and space. Can reverse or speed up any of his actions, as well as reverse negative effects or attacks done to him. Has been known to do the same power on others, only through physical contact. Can traverse through small wormholes for quick escape, so as long as destination is within viewing range. As in terms of weaponry, he carries a Zweihander blade on his back, as well as 4 frisbee discs (1 Large, 3 Small), concealing large blades that are made to wound enemies, as well as acting like minature shields, a titanium chord that shocks its victims, and a small stainless steel dagger, used for close combat.
Other:Has been known to salvage equipment from various junkyards, construction sites, and recycling facilities to fuel the work of his purposes in case the equipment from AEGIS doesn't work out for him. Keeps himself physically active and keeps his brain sharp, and is very ambient in the heat of combat. Incredibly unpredictable due to his silent nature and fighting style.

I plan to bring Ze Operator in during a middle of a fight. I might decide to bring in a new character if time allows for me. AND if you allow it.[DOUBLEPOST=1367725403][/DOUBLEPOST]BTW, is it alright if I take out the remaining enemies? it seems like this battle is still in progress and should have ended a while ago.

 

Accepted and added, but, for the sake of plot, Ze Operator won't be part of Runner's Ally team. As in, he won't have met them yet. So what we're going to do is say that Operator has been recruited by AEGIS longer than the others, but has been working with the actual soldiers inside the agency instead of as a superhero. For now, post as him on his way to the scene, but not getting there yet. As for the other Allies, they won't know about him.

There's only one enemy (The Tanker which everyone is fighting. He's controlled by the Mechaman, but they don't know that or where he is). And no, you can't end it yet. The RP is dragging a little bit, but story-wise, this fight serves a purpose so no premature ending it, please. Like I said, just post with Operator on his way. Everything will get explained after the fight, don't worry.

Real name and Superhero Alias: Tray Kane/Archer
Age and Appearance: 22 years old, (everyday) he has long blonde hair that he keeps in a ponytail, has many small scars all over his face, and wears just a plain black shirt and jeans. (Alter ego) As Archer he wears black jeans, a black leather jacket with a red cross hairs symbol on the back over a thin black hoodie, he keeps the hood up. And wears a special pair of goggles that can zoom in on targets over 6 miles away, has night vision, and infrared vision. He wears a large quiver on his back and two smaller ones attached to his belt and legs.
Biography: For most of his life Tray lived on the streets doing whatever it took to survive. Until one day when he was 13 he was getting savagely beaten by a gang of men, it wasn't until 40 something year old man with two rather intimating bodyguards stepped in did the gang stop. Impressed by his resilience to back down against overwhelming odds the man, only know as Zeus, was the leader of a league of assassins known as Olympus took the young teenager under his wing. Where he trained him to be a assassin along with Zeus's son Damien. As being trained with Damien, Tray thought of him as his brother and that they had a friendly rivalry, Damien felt different. Damien was extremely jealous of Tray due to Zeus paying a lot of attention to Tray and would go out of his way to make him look bad. While trained to use about every weapon imagined, Tray preferred to use a bow because he liked the control he had over the bow and felt it was more predictable and less sloppy than a gun. And not to be outdone by Tray, Damien began using a bow too. But as time went on Tray grew to hate the killing, he wanted to make a difference in the world and eventually left Olympus much to the dismay to Zeus, who sent his top agents to bring Tray back to no avail. Zeus eventually gave up and went in a deep depression because Tray was like a son to him. Damien, going under the name Apollo, felt that his father was unfit to lead and challenged him for leadership, but failed. Later Damien killed Zeus framing Tray. With Olympus in his hand and everyone believing Tray guilty, Damien made Tray enemy number 1. With every agent after him, Tray went to AEGIS for protection in offer for his services as agent and some info on Olympus. Since Olympus prefers to stay anonymous they would never attack AEGIS out right, they stopped all attacks on Tray and just disappeared off the map. And Tray has been with AEGIS ever since hoping to repay his debt and maybe save a few lives instead of taking them.
Personality: Tray for the most part is a quiet guy who prefers to keep things to himself which makes him come off as cold and disinterested in anyone else, but he is afraid if anyone knew about his past they would think of him as a monster given that he's a former assassin. While on a mission he prefers to get things done quick and doesn't give up until the missions over, and always with a sarcastic attitude. Given his history he doesn't trust too easily and is borderline paranoid, but for those he does trust he is extremely loyal to them. He is a caring person under his gruff exterior. He also likes to give nicknames to people from pop-culture.
Powers and Equipment: While he doesn't have any powers but his strength, speed, agility, stamina, reflexes, and eyesight are above average but not superhuman. He is skilled in about every martial art known to man. He uses a compound bow with a whole lot of trick arrows in his quivers. His arrows include electric arrows, tranquilizer arrows, explosive arrows (has some that can detonate with his voice command), regular arrows, glue arrows, tear gas arrows, smokescreen arrows, flash grenade arrows, net arrows, and non-lethal impact arrows. He is extremely accurate with just about anything. And he keeps a collapsible steel baton in case he runs out of arrows. Also he is a skilled driver.
Other: Enjoys greasy food, lemon-lime sodas, cherry flavored suckers, pie, soap operas, 1970s to 1990s classic rock, and anything with Gary Oldman in it, because HE IS AN ACTING GOD.

My favorite superhero is Nightcrawler from X-Men because I find him such an interesting character given his appearance and his beliefs. My favorite supervillian is Two-face from Batman because I love the idea of someone's life being ruled by pure chance.
btw tell me if I have too many gadgets. :D

Also, with Archer, we've reached the cap for Allies at 12! If anybody else wants to join, however, simply talk to me and we'll figure something out.

As for Archer, I went ahead and set up an intro for him (the third part of my last post). The AEGIS agent is talking to him and is going to give him some information so simply have Archer respond any way you want, assuming you're caught up. If not, I won't mind giving you a recap.

On a bookkeeping note: Chrome Dokuro has quit the RP and mindstorm787 is camping for the next two or so months. We're going to say that Alice (Chrome) was injured early in the battle and, being an android, she's out of commission (which will also leave room in case she decides to return) and Ze Operator got called away on AEGIS related business.
Also, anybody who hasn't posted recently (I KNOW, I'M NOT ONE TO TALK), please try to post soon. I'm not finishing this battle until at least every person does one thing.

Real Name and Superhero Alias: Thomas Curze (The Ghoul)
Age and Appearance: 26 (Phantom Suit)
Biography and Personality: Thomas Curze was no one really special growing up. He had a normal life, growing up with his single mother and two older brothers in a rather crime infested city. As a child he admired the various superheroes in the world and wished nothing more then to like them. Of course as he got older he abandoned this fantasy. As an adult Thomas was rather carefree and had no real sense of responsibility or direction in his life. As such his life his life never came into focus, he drifted from job to job very often with no plan or agenda, never seizing the opportunities that presented themselves.

But one day that all changed. He was on a road trip across the country, passing through an old empty road at night when he saw something sailing through the air that flew over and crashed into a nearby forest. Out of curiosity he pulled over his car and went to investigate, moving deep into the woods with only a flashlight. Upon finding the crash site he saw a crash trail and at the end of it a metal pod. Ignoring the little voice in the back of his head telling him to get as far away from the obviously alien object as possible, he approached the object, reached out, and touched it. The pod opened at the touch. Steam was released from it, after it clean Thomas looked into the pod and saw a metal device sitting inside. Again curiosity got the better of him again and he reached for it, when it suddenly sprang from the pod and latched onto Thomas' wrist.

Panicked he tried desperately to remove the alien device and in the process activated it. Too his horror he witnessed as some sort of black stuff quickly started to materialize over his body from the device. Soon his face was covered and he couldn't see, then everything came back. He could see normally as if nothing was on him but he could still feel it. his first thought was "What the hell is this?" And as if answering him, text appear right before his eyes and explained everything about the device and the suit. As he read he learned its function and how it was thought controlled (which explained why the text appeared). At first his only interest was getting the damn thing off, but then a nagging little thought crept in. A thought that this was meant to be, that he could do some real good.

Once he figured out to turn off the device he got back in his car and got the hell out of there and headed home. For the next month he took the time to master the suit's functions. Once he began his new superhero career he decided to wage a campaign of terror on the criminal underworld of his home city by using the suit's functions and rather terrifying appearance to their fullest and relying heavily on raw psychological warfare and hit & run tactics.

For six months his reign of terror went on and the crime rate was steadily dropping from his activities. Rumors and stories about him were everywhere which help spread the fear of him to criminals. The papers started calling him "The Ghoul" which Thomas rather liked and decided to roll with.

When not acting as the Ghoul, Thomas is a rather relaxed and laidback guy with a rather lighthearted & snarky sense of humor and rarely shows any seriousness, often rubbing people the wrong way, but still rather friendly to the people around him. As his "Ghoul" alter-ego he becomes quiet, arrogant, sarcastic, cold and calculating and often appears somewhat morbid & ominous towards those who speak to him, and favoring a variety of very simple yet very disconcerting methods of instilling a great air of discomfort, fear, and a direct feeling of being constantly watched on those targeted by him.

Powers and Equipment:
-Phantom Suit: The Phantom Suit is an advance alien device that has attached itself to Thomas' left wrist; it has the appearance of a metal bracelet. When the device is activated it will materialize an exoskeleton suit onto Thomas' body. The suit is incredibly light, thus allowing for better mobility and flexibility, but still provides excellent protection (especially against firearms and knives) despite this. But the key ability of the suit is that it has built in stealth camouflage capabilities that render the user completely invisible. The suit's mask allows the user's thoughts to control the armor's functions, it also has a targeting and tracking system, a zoom-in zoom-out function, and a device that can distort the user's voice to be unrecognizable. Another key aspect of the suit is that it is capable of recording the thoughts of the user, images, and even words spoken by others and can play them back at the user's command. This function is handy for when Thomas is doing his own detective work.

-Grapple Gun: A device that Thomas had taken from the site of one of his criminal hideout raids. The tool is magnetic gas powered grappling hook gun and has been tested to be able to lift about 360 pounds. When fired it launches a hook into the air, permitting rapid elevation change, allowing Thomas to scale buildings and access tactically advantageous positions.

Other: Basically he's Batman. Without the years of training, or the gadgets, or the dead parents. Okay so maybe not all that like Batman. Oh, and a little Green Lantern & Spider-Man thrown in.

 

Thanks, burnitup! If everyone hasn't gathered it by now, The Ghoul is an established hero. Remember, the fight will end once everybody who hasn't taken part in the battle or posted recently posts! I think that's...Aerodaemon (cstar7777), Spirit (Midnight Star), Phantom (whateverDinnygoesbynow) and...no, that should be it. Just y'all~

 

Heads up BW, your pic link for the savage is broken. Im also making a rogue character, but I'm not sure if I'll post it or not. Also, I don't entirely grasp the 'Archnemesis' thing.

 

An archnemesis is, by definition, the principal enemy of someone or something. Think Lex Luthor to Superman or The Joker to Batman.

 

I know the definition, I just dont know why we should have one.

Oh, well my rogue character is not going to be very comic book-y. Can he have an arch nemesis that another rogue has?

 

I would assume so.
