    Chapter One: And His Name Was Treason

    I've been an Assassin for a long time. Murders in my wake, normalcy in my dreams. I've seen things that most common people would be sick at, I have even caused some of them. I wish for forgiveness from time to time, but I never give in to this blood war. Peace is in everything is my mission, and if they get in my way; I get rid of them. Why would I be forgiven?

    Since the colorful Sora and his friends came to be, I was sent to kill them. And never to return until success. I made it certain that I made this quick as possible, someone taking care of it for me by the name of Riku. He was one of the Allies, but he seemed rather good for our part. But now, I am to be sent to kill off all the Allies, even traitors. Including this helpful Riku.

    I still question this, seeing as though I was part of Sora since he gave his heart to his once lover, Kairi. Her location is unknown, but I am to find it. My master's name to me is concealed, but everyone calls him Treason. He has been hiding in the shadows since it all began, being an enemy to Sora since the black coats drenched his neck. He kidnapped me when he saw I had a weakness for DiZ's creation, Namine. I haven't seen her in the past three years.

    I am Roxas, in a different fashion. I've been in training since I was brought to his fortress, many of his men at disposal to my demise. I learned quickly, and began to wonder when the real compromise would begin. My hair hasn't changed it side fashion, I'm more brawn, less short, and more equipped then any normal person. I'm dressed in a some sort of black outfit, but nothing of the Organization Coats.

    Recently, there have been some news. Sora has come back, some how. And is wanting answers. I've been sent to go interrogate his assistant, a woman living in Twilight Town. I'm travelling there now, thinking of what is to become of this traitor in the inside of our group. He was surely what caused this to happen.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    The smell of the smoke on the train, calmed Roxas as he slumped in his seat. He looked out the brightly-lit window, his hands on his sides. He breathed a heavy sigh, as he heard someone on the train cough. It was a man, about his age, with a crazed look in his eyes. The man looked over at Roxas, double taking at Roxas's body. He had a confused look on his face for about thirty seconds, then he smiled. Roxas suddenly felt a sudden deja-vu, as if he knew this fellow.
    "C-can it be?" Roxas heard him whisper to himself, as he got up from his seat and sat across from him.
    "A-are you R-Roxas?" He asked, putting a hand up to him, holding some sort of round jewel. Roxas sat up, moving away from the hand.
    "What is it to you?" He asked, his guard up. Is he some sort of Spy?
    "I-it's Hayner! You know, when you lived here?" The man said, Roxas suddenly having a vision of himself, as a teen with three other teens, looking as though they were all friends. One was bigger then the others, and one was a girl. The other looked like the man in front of him, just less of a crazed look. Roxas suddenly had three names on his thoughts, over all the others he was having, saying each in a specific voice of his younger self.
    "Hayner! Pence! Olette!" Roxas shook his head in confusion, as Hayner looked at him in a insane hope. His mouth was in a happy smile, his eyebrows halfway off his forehead, and he was leaning over, as if trying to read his face.
    "H-Hayner?" Roxas asked, his voice box suddenly in a different tone. He never really remembered anything other then Namine. She was his most precious memories. He would never give that up, if it saved his life.
    "Roxas! It's been so long!" Hayner said, putting his hand out for a shake. Roxas confirmed the meeting with a returning hand, and looked him over. Hayner looked as though he hasn't eaten in a while, and his clothes are rather dirty. Where was his mother?
    "Yeah..." Roxas answered, sounding suspicious. Why was he suddenly here when he was travelling to Twilight Town? Roxas knew this was his hometown, but he never really thought of thinking about his past. Hayner looked at Roxas with an assuring face, waving his hand he shook Roxas with.
    "No need to be worried, I've only been homeless for a month. My Mom kicked me out for coming home at three in the morning." Hayner answered, making Roxas even more doubtful.
    "Why?" Roxas asked, Hayner confused at the question. "I meant why were you home at three in the morning." Roxas included, Hayner's face suddenly changing to a thinking face.
    "I'm not sure... All I remember is that there were a lot of people in black. And actually asking about my teen years." Hayner asked, his hand suddenly on his chin. He was rubbing it as in thinking.
    "What were they particularly asking about?" Roxas asked, seeming interested. Maybe it was the Organization again.
    "They were actually asking about you. They had pictures of us back in the day." Hayner answered, Roxas's eyes widening when he heard the first sentence. Were they finally catching on? I should be extra careful when I'm coming through this mission... Roxas thought to himself.
    The train slid to a stop, screeching on the rails making sparks. The doors opened, an intercom interrupting Hayner saying something.
    "Thank you for riding the Express Way, make you way out as quickly as possible." It said, as Roxas stood, Hayner still sitting.
    "Aren't you getting off?" Roxas asked, about to exit the booth he was sitting in with Hayner. Hayner shook his head, as he looked down.
    "This is going to be my new apartment until Mom decides to bring me back in again." Hayner answered quietly, sounding embarrassed. Roxas nodded once, keeping his head down, putting his hood up to conceal his identity. It's to risky with what Hayner said about mean in black looking for him. The Organization must be planning something of their own. Roxas thought to himself as he exited the Train Station. The sudden smell of his old memories rushed to his head, making Roxas dizzy, seeing his memories rush through his mind. Some had Namine in them, some had the three friends, guessing who were Hayner, Pence, and Olette. He wasn't planning on visiting any new friends anytime soon.
    Treason said that the assistant lived at the Mansion outside of the walls of Twilight Town, where there should be an opening. An arch of some kind. It was occupied by a woman, and she was supposed to have some sort of power of importance to Treason. That's why he said not to kill her, just interrogate her.
    Roxas left the huge opening to the Train Station, where there was a series of roads for the citizens to walk upon, without worry of being ran over by any random car. Roxas didn't see many people occupying the streets, just some random young women, and some men. Little children running along. Seemed like a rather peaceful city.
    Roxas saw an opening to a Market Place, Roxas suddenly remembering that there was an opening to the wall from his teenage years. He walked through the opening to the Market, where people were about, buying needs or stuff for their friends or family. Roxas seemed annoyed at the sudden population, not wanting to be recognized. He walked to the side, walking around the crowd, someone turning. You could hear them talking to themselves saying something like "Who is that?" But they dropped the subject, and walked along. Roxas ignored the questioning, and finally came upon a archway to a wooded area. Roxas suddenly felt that sudden deja-vu emotion, and shook his head in doubt, waving the thought away. He walked through the darkened forest, following a trail. It looked like there wasn't anyone through these woods in ages, and only one set of prints were most recent. They were a pair of smaller feet, seeming to fit a child, or a woman. Roxas stood from kneeling on the ground, hearing something ahead. He tried to look ahead, not hearing anything more. He walked ahead cautiously, looking ahead in an eager notion. An opening to the forest was shown, and gates to a Mansion was there. The gates were opened, and the
    Mansion looked old, and not occupied. But Roxas continued, going through the court yard gracefully, not thinking any danger was there. He finally reached the doorway, Roxas hearing something behind him. Roxas turned, not seeing anything; making him nervous of why he's so paranoid these days.
    Roxas held the door's handle, feeling his stomach be in knots. His thoughts raced, seeing Namine in every other vision. Roxas felt the sudden urge to push the door open, end this idiotic mind race his mental state he was in. Roxas pushed the door open with all his force, the door opening reluctantly, Roxas almost tripping when the door let go and opened fully. He caught himself luckily, and he brushed off the dust he stepped into. Roxas looked around, noticing that inside the Mansion, the abandonment is telling you otherwise. The furniture was all clear, and the tables were addressed with beautiful vases and flowers, the dim lighting making it hard for him to see. Roxas moved towards the staircase, grabbing the handrail for guidance up the stairs. Roxas saw a white light coming from the bottom of a door, a white door. The rest were amazingly brown, making this room important. He felt another flashback play through his head of himself walking through these doors, to see his Namine.
    Roxas let go of the banister, heading for the bright white door, gripping the door handle. It was cold, meaning someone hasn't opened it in a while. The smell of flowers drizzled Roxas's thoughts, making him feel intoxicated, the smell was so strong. He opened the door with grace, looking through the room. There was a large table in the middle of the room, two chairs on each end of the table, no chairs on the sides. There was nothing on the table but a white cloth to cover it, making the whole room stand out more. The walls were white, being occupied with pictures, and drawings of faint memories Roxas could recall. There was one large window parallel to the table, with long white drapes covering it.
    Roxas suddenly felt a safe feeling, as though this his sanctuary.
    He suddenly noticed a person in the midst, in the corner of the room, turned to Roxas. Her expression was serious, her lightening blue eyes glaring at Roxas, like as thought to see right through him. Roxas looked back, not seeing the resemblance to Namine and the woman before him. She was taller, but shorter then Roxas. Her body was more fully developed, her breasts larger then Roxas's past, and her curves more noticeable. Her hair was longer, but was still the same style. Her dress was a bit shorter, but her held a balance of her long legs.
    "I knew one of you would come to ask about him." She said playfully, waving her hand to send Roxas at the neighboring wall. He grunted in pain, but nothing was too much for him. Roxas stood again, jumping towards her crossing the table, remembering that she was of importance to Treason. He pushed her into the wall, putting his arms to the wall, as if trapping her. The woman only looked up, nodding up her head, Roxas suddenly airborne, sending him into a different wall again. Roxas's head banged against the wall, the hood falling, his blonde hair creeping out from the black hood. The woman waved her hand again this time keeping it in the air at Roxas, banging him up like a doll to the wall, making him stay. She then suddenly saw the hair, and Roxas's face, dropping her hand. She walked over to him, kneeling down, her fingers lifting up Roxas's chin. She suddenly had a small smile on her face, chuckling.
    "So you finally came back, Roxas." She said, watching Roxas slip into unconsciousness.
    Chapter Two: Eyes Fully Opened
    I dreampt in my unconscious slumber, and it was like as though my dream answered all the questions I had in my head. The dream was about a dark calling, myself part of it, smokey rings covering my arms and legs. I looked as though I was asleep, inside some sort of trance to wake when needed. My head was down, eyes closed; my heart pounding to the beat of the sound of footsteps. It seems as though I'm inside someone.
    I felt a sudden urge to try to escape this black prison from time to time. I never tried. It was useless, because I can't see any exit in my sight. Could there be an exit, I just can't see it?
    One fine silence of many a sound of breathing was heard a mile away from my cell. It was captivating, I felt like a monster trying to find it. I lifted my head only a little, my strength too thin to even try to open my eyes. The breathing was closer, more thin. The smell of flowers filtered my presance, and I knew that she was here.
    "You are saved, Roxas." She said, lifting my chin with her fingers. My eyes opened unconsciously, seeing her. She was bright in this darkness, her pale moonlight skin illuminating this dark prison. She was beautiful, thoughts asking who she was, why she was here, and what was she doing here. A sudden thought submerged from all, answering them the instant it shown itself.
    "Namine." I said, in a tired tone. She smiled, and nodded once, leaning in to my face. It was awkward, since we've never seen each other before. Her lips touched mine, so gracefully to make my whole body turn to rubber. My mind went blank, my eyes closing as hers did. Her arms wrapped around my neck, pulling me closer to her. I suddenly surfaced from the black ringlets of the prison keeping me here.
    She was the one who let me out.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Roxas jumped up from his bed, his hidden blade jumping out from his right hand. He was in a dimmly lit room, inside the Mansion no doubt. That woman really banged him up, but nothing too serious. It was like training for him; just Roxas was caught off guard.

    He heard footsteps hurriedly coming towards the room, opening the door in an impatcient fashion. It was the woman from before, the light making her more mysterious.

    "Roxas! You're awake!" She said, running towards him. He was laying upon a bed, in the middle of the room. It was large, enough to fit five more of him and still have room. There was mirrors decorating the room's walls, some different shapes and sizes. The woman was at the left bed side, sitting on the edge. She looked calmly over at Roxas, the love in her eyes.

    "W-who are you?" Roxas asked, scooting away from her. He didn't know how to react to such a pleasurable stare, since he missed all those morals in Treason's training sessions.

    "You don't remember?" She asked, her head tilting to the side, as if she was dog. Roxas felt the urge to giggle at her expression. She had a goofy look to her.

    "I've began to remember a little." Roxas answered cautiously, not wanting her to be closer. The woman did the opposite, leaning in to get a better look of him.

    "You've changed so much." She only said, her hand touching his face, making Roxas's muscles tense. He didn't know what this feeling was, but she was provoking it very well. There was a sound off knocking on the door, and Namine suddenly moved her hand, and stood.

    "That must be Axel." She said, walking towards the door. She turned suddenly,
    at the doorway; looking at Roxas who is still on the bed. She smiled, her blue eyes lightening up somehow.

    "Aren't you coming?" She asked, exitting the room. Her footsteps faded away to the sound of her going downstairs, as the door opened. A yell of happiness came out, and made Roxas jump. Roxas stood from the bed he slept on, feeling as though her invitation should be considered, as he exited the room.

    Roxas made his way through the upstairs, going down the staircase with a firm grip on the banister. He heard voices in another room, in the room to the right of where he was, across the room. There was noises as though the two of them were doing something with kitchen utensils, as he walked across the room. He heard more things clearer, as he heard his name. Roxas held still, hearing what they said.

    "Is he awake?"
    "Of course he is. You know how he is."
    "But since he left three years ago-"
    "Shush. Don't remind me."
    "But-"
    "I said shush, he's coming down here anyway."

    What was that about? 'You know how he is'? What is that supposed to mean? Roxas asked himself, as he gripped the door frame to the kitchen. The two were probably across the room, planning something. Roxas decided to show his face, walking into the room. A man with spikey red hair stood with the woman from before, Roxas guessing that he was Axel. He turned, hearing Roxas come in, and smiled a huge, insane smile.

    "Roxas." He said in a welcoming way, walking towards him to give a huge bear-hug. Roxas kept his hands to his sides, as he felt his cool hidden blade wating to be drawn. He shouldn't.

    "A-Axel." Roxas said to answer, just to make him stop. Axel let go of Roxas, stepping back. He admired him, and put his hands on his hips.

    "You've grown taller. And do I see some muscle for Miss Namine over here to drool over?" Axel said, sounding like a father. He was older then Roxas remembered, but not in Axel's mind. He was still that young man that Roxas is now. Roxas heard the woman giggle from behind, Axel turning.

    "You didn't notice those guns he has? Damn, they're huge." He said, punching Roxas's right arm. Roxas felt the heat rise to his cheeks, as he took the hit. He was used to it, anyhow.

    "Stop it, Axel. He's still weak from me." The woman advised, stepping towards the table in the corner of the room. She motioned for the two boys to sit, and she sat down herself, with a cup of hot liquid in her hand. Axel sat down, slumping over. He reminded Roxas of the noobies of Assassin's at Treason's, who were tired from training that day.

    "Axel, we have to explain it to him." The woman said, sipping her cup. She seemed eager to explain whatever it was to Roxas, making him nervous. Axel nodded, taking in a deep breath.

    "You probably don't remember the both of us. Because of Treason." Axel said, Roxas's back stiffening. He was always the one to reveal his Master's idenitity to anyone. This is a surprise.

    "How do you know Treason?" Roxas asked defendingly, seeming as though it was his father or something. Roxas never knew why he was defensive, but it was normally him who said anything about his master.

    "The Organization has known him for a while. We know that you killed one of us. And I'm ordered to kill you. But you are my friend." Axel said, looking down at the table, looking at the memoirs of him and Roxas. Roxas looked at Axel as though he was crazy, and looked up the woman, who had her eyes closed, sipping her cup again.

    "He means that your first mission was a fake. Treason is setting you up." She answered, making Roxas even more confused. How did she know of his first mission?

    "He sent you here to interogate me, didn't he?" She continued, Roxas getting more angry. How did she know of our business?

    "He brought Sora back. I didn't." She said, cutting off Roxas from what he was about to say. She put down her cup, and put her hands in her lap. Roxas was in question of how could she be so calm, at a time like this.

    "But he said you brought him back, you're the assistant! How could you not be?" He accused, feeling the urge to stand. He sat his ground, staying still, his hands on the table.

    "If I did bring Sora back, I wouldn't be here right now." She said, Roxas caught off guard. He looked at her, not knowing what to say.

    "Us witches can only bring someone back once, and I already brought someone back." She continued, looking up at Roxas. He felt a sudden point at him being the person she brought back.

    "The only other person who would really want Sora back would be Treason."
    Axel added, the woman and him looking at Roxas. Roxas has no idea why he would, and felt the idea to just ask.

    "Why?" Roxas asked, knowing that it was an idiotic question, but it had to asked.

    "Because Sora would be the perfect puppet." Axel said, the woman looking at the table in deep thought now. It looked like she was depressed from the thought.

    "But I'm his top Assassin. How could he beat me?" Roxas retorically asked, Axel looking at the woman.

    "He's part of you, Roxas. You are from him. Think about you, but only two times stronger. And with brown spikey hair." Axel said, making Roxas think. Could it be true?

    "Do you remember Namine?" The woman suddenly asked, Axel trying to say something that sounded in doubt, but she stopped him. She motioned Roxas
    to go on, Roxas visualizing Namine three years ago.

    "Yes. That's the most thing I remember." He answered, the woman suddenly gasping. You could see a tear fall from her eye, even in the fluoresant lighting of the kitchen. The woman put her face in ther hands, not moving.

    "You see, the girl right here. She is Namine." Axel said in the silence. Roxas's eyes widened, looking at the new Namine. She was the same, but different at the same time. How could he not have noticed her?

    "N-Namine?" Roxas said, making her head lift from her hands. She looked at Roxas for a full ten seconds, suddenly jumping from her seat, jumping over the table. The table knocked over, and Namine was embracing Roxas, who was still in his chair, astonished at the sudden outburst. Axel still stood in front of his chair, smiling as in it was a happy ending of a movie.

    "I knew you remembered!" Namine exclaimed like a little girl, hugging Roxas as she was in his lap. Roxas put his arms around her in an awkward notion, looking at Axel, who had a his hand in a thumbs up way. He winked once, as Namine was still hugging him.

    "Okay, Namine. We have to get him to the Organization. They're going to be so happy at his betrayal." Axel said, Roxas looking up at the word of betrayal.

    "I'm sorry, master." He could hear himself say in his thoughts to Treason.

    Chapter Three: Back-Stab

    Why am I continuing to think about Namine all the time? She always on my mind no matter where I am or what I'm doing. Namine continues to amaze with her unique style, and sudden outbursts of love to me. She always kisses my cheek when I disappear for more then an hour, and when I wake in the morning, she suddenly appears in the doorway as in the first day I was here.

    I've been here for three days since the first day, and we are leaving today to go meet Axel at Train Station to go to the Organization. We'll most likely go through a portal there to the World That Never Was, since you can't get there by train.

    I feel like I want to be with Namine forever. Is this a problem?

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Roxas felt the cold on sting his fingertips as he gripped a banister going down the stairs of the Mansion. Why has it been so cold lately?
    "C'mon, Roxas. We have to go." Namine said, sounding more serious then normal. She was putting on a black jacket, that was tight; with a lot of clamps on the sides. It looked rather stunning on Namine's little body, and her hair was a little different then what Roxas normally saw.
    Roxas nodded once, jumping down from a couple stairs from the bottom, making his knees feel a bit weaker then normal. He hasn't done much since he's been here, and Roxas is used to doing something physical everyday. Namine turned, looking at Roxas with a calm smile.
    "You might need something. Maybe that jacket you came here with?" Namine suggested, sounding worried about his safety. Roxas noticed he was wearing his white shirt underneath his black jacket he wore here, his jacket somewhere.
    Roxas shrugged, his shoulders slumping more then normal.
    "I don't know where it is, you put it somewhere." He said, turning around to see where it might turn up. Namine opened a closet beside her, and took out the black jacket. She handed it to him, Roxas putting it on in a quick notion. Namine watched closely, then opened the front door as Roxas finished his situating of his jacket. She stepped outside the Mansion, waiting for Roxas to join her.
    "Are you sure?" Roxas asked, nervous to show his image. Namine nodded, smiling encouragingly, her hand coming out to him, Roxas taking it. He stepped on the door frame's ending to the outside pavement, the heat of the sun hitting his face, the cold of the air hitting his nostrils. His eyes looked over to Namine, which was white against the bright sun, Her eyes standing out from her white face. Her pale pink lips against the soft green of the grass behind her made her whole face stick out, her smile so sweet. Roxas couldn't help but smile.
    "What are you smiling about?" Namine said nervously, pink showing on her cheeks. Roxas stepped off the door frame, going towards Namine, making her tense. He still had her hand, going towards Namine, his heart pounding. He felt the need to, the want to. He leaned in, wanting this to happen, feeling this is the right moment, Roxas peering into Namine's eyes, switching between her eyes and lips. He then caught himself as Namine looked back, her smile disappeared from her face, looking absolutely stunned. Roxas leaned back, turning. He looked back at Namine, who was still speechless, saying;
    "We should go. We shouldn't keep Axel waiting." Namine shocked back into the real world, her cheeks burning to a deep red as she walked forward, their fingers still entangled together. Roxas walked beside her, wanting to put his hood up for protection. Namine looked over at him, smiled sweetly as if she was a seven year old, and let go of his hand, running ahead. Roxas was confused by the sudden outburst of energy, but decided to follow her. He sped up to a jog, not running fully, watching Namine run not too far behind. She ran in a different fashion then Roxas, as she got the opening to Twilight Town. She stopped as Roxas reached the opening, and waited as he approached about five seconds later.
    Namine took his hand, leading him through the way, up the the Market place. Some of the people there stopped what they were doing and looked, making Roxas cringe, and want to hide his identity. Namine squeezed his hand, and walked by linking his arm with hers, making him pay attention to her. Roxas felt the feeling from before, but dropped it, when he heard a woman's voice.
    "I-Is that Roxas?" Roxas turned, Namine stopping as well. A woman with long brown hair looked at the both of them, she had one hand on a baby carriage, and she looked as though she was shopping as well. Roxas looked her over, letting go of Namine's hand. He stepped forward once, her face becoming clear to his memories. It was Olette, and she was more pretty then he thought.
    "Olette?" Roxas asked, making the woman giggle at the name. She didn't move from her carriage, just turning to wear her whole front side facing Roxas and Namine. Namine turned to the both of them, wanting to take Roxas and get going. She didn't like how he was talking to her.
    "Yup, it's me. What happened all those years ago?" Olette asked, seeming a bit too cheerful to see Roxas. He wanted to tell the truth, but he knew he couldn't.
    "I... I can't talk about it." Roxas said, as he looked at the floor. He felt embarrassed of his past. Olette tipped from her toes to the ball of her feet, wanting to change the topic.
    "So are you here for visit? Or are you moving back here?" She asked, making Roxas think about the answer. He never thought of moving back here, maybe moving in Namine. Or will he go back, and face the wrath of his Master?
    "I-I'm not sure." Roxas responded, seeing Namine wanting to go. Olette seemed interesting to talk to, but he needs to go.
    "Well, it was nice seeing you, but I have to go and feed this little bugger." Olette notioned to a crying baby in front of them, and Roxas nodded. He only had one question.
    "Who's the father?" Roxas asked, not sure if he would the know the father anyway. Olette smiled, looking down at the baby, love in her eyes.
    "Siefer." Olette said in a graceful way, Roxas remembering him surprisingly. Namine stepped back some, motioning Roxas to come on. Roxas nodded as he waved Olette goodbye, and ran up the hill to the Train Station.
    "What was that back there?" Namine asked, running behind Roxas, sounding kind of mad. Roxas wouldn't have the slightest idea why.
    "She was a good friend of mine." Roxas answered, going silent as Axel appeared before them in the large space before the Train Station. He had his arms crossed, looking very impatient. Namine got to Axel first, Roxas only a second behind her. Namine looked upset at Axel's face.
    "Sorry, we ran into some old friends." She said, Axel glancing over at Roxas. He looked back over a Namine, as Axel snapped his fingers making a portal appear behind him.
    "Before we're even more late." He said, moving aside for the lady to step in first. Namine stepped in, putting her hood up from her black jacket. Axel motioned Roxas to go after her, Roxas stepping forward. He looked into the dark smokey ring, Axel putting Roxas's hood up as he pushed him through the portal. Axel stepped in after, the portal disappearing from view.
    Roxas felt the cold, black cobblestone underneath his feet through his shoes. The atmosphere changed to dark, moist. Roxas smelt the rain coming, making Roxas look around at his surroundings. Namine was in front of him, about ten yards ahead, at the end of the alley. She was waiting for the both of them, Axel pushing Roxas ahead.
    "C'mon, kid." Axel said, Roxas walking slowly in front of him, his face in a confused way. Namine was up ahead, looking at Roxas. She seemed like she had a worried look upon her face, as in she was fearing the unknown. Roxas looked her, making Namine look away. She looked ahead to the high building before them, the brightest lights in the whole town. Roxas hasn't been to the World That Never Was since his first mission, and he was teleported straight to the Castle when he was here. Never in the city itself.
    Axel went ahead of Namine, going to the left towards more hallways of buildings, above them a heart-shaped moon. Roxas couldn't help but notice there was no one walking around in the streets. Namine was walking beside Roxas, looking pretty scared. She hasn't been here in three years, since Roxas left, and she didn't dare to go here again.
    A sudden bang came from behind them, and Namine jumped three feet out of her skin, grabbing Rojas's arm with two hands. She was fearful of the World That Never Was, she only went to Castle, and never had to travel through here. Roxas chuckled at Namine's reaction, and put his arm around her waist.
    "It's okay." He said, Namine not calming down at Rojas's gesture. Her cheeks flared a deep red, as she moved closer to Roxas, walking behind Axel. Axel wasn't paying attention, as the both of them were getting closer.
    "We're almost there." Axel said to the both of them, only looking over a little, not really seeing the both of them so close. Roxas put his hand down from Namine's waist, and took her hand instead. He was feeling a bit unusual walking like that.
    Namine nodded at Axel's comment, and she saw the grey Castle up ahead. The bridge was still there, and she remembered coming here so many years ago to rescue Kairi, and help Sora. Roxas was gone into Sora by then, and Namine was going to get him out as soon as she helped Sora out.
    Axel stopped before the bridge's arch, and watched the both of them walking. They soon reached the bridge, Namine letting go of Rojas's hand.
    "If we show any sign of affection, they will use it against us." She warned, walking ahead of the both of them. Axel looked at Roxas for about three seconds, then trailed behind Namine. Roxas stood at the other end, not moving. He looked at his options, looking at the Castle's every balcony, window, and breezeway. He seen everything he needed, walking forward. He felt the bridge moving, as in it was going to give in to his presence. He felt like he was going to do something wrong.
    Roxas dropped the thought, and walked forward in a brisk fashion. He was about five steps behind Axel, and Namine was ahead of the both of them, waiting at the other side. Axel and Roxas reached the other side, Namine and Axel standing in front of Roxas, in a triangle fashion. The door opened reluctantly to Axel's wave, and someone in a black coat was waiting for the three of them.
    Their hood was off, Roxas's memories recalling him to be Marluxia. He had pink-ish hair, a strong build. He seemed strong, enough to throw Roxas across the room. He looked at Namine and smirked, making Roxas seem protective. He then remembered Namine's warning, and looked at the floor. Namine looked up at Marluxia, and smiled sweetly. Axel looked a Marluxia seriously, making the mood change.
    "Why are you bothering me?" Axel asked, sounding like he was annoyed. Marluxia moved her glance from Namine to Axel, his smile disappearing.
    "Xemnas sent me to make sure you had them. And it seems you do." He said in a velvety voice, Roxas getting more jealous by the second. Namine looked at the floor, knowing Roxas's feelings. Axel moved Marluxia out of the way with his arm, Marluxia moving only some, so Namine can pass.
    "You can go, my lady." He said sweetly, as Namine looked up at him. She had a blank stare, standing her ground.
    "I'm not going anywhere unless Axel shows me the way." She answered blankly, making seem like she slapped Marluxia in the face.
    "Well then. You can go." He said, moving out of the way. He watched dthe three pass, watching Roxas more then all of them. When the three were out of site, he turned, walking the other way in a brisk fashion.
    Axel led the up the a couple of stories, until the reached a rather large door. The castle seemed empty, not one person inside. Roxas smelt the smell of Namine briefly, making his mind melt to a dream land, where suddenly he felt a slight elbow hit his side, making his laugh slightly.
    "That tickles," He said involuntarily, making Namine giggle, but stopping herself when Axel stopped at the door's handle. He turned to the both of them, looking at the both of them stiffen up.
    "Behave, or it'll be my head. Got it memorized?" He said, seeing the both of them nod, as he pushed the door open from behind. Axel turned quickly, his arms spread out wide, a huge smile on his face.
    "Xemnas! Look who I brought back form the dead!" He said, sounding cheerful.
    Chapter Four: The Fear That Gave Him Wings
    She continued through the door, giving me a second chance to run, and never look back, to the person who gave me the strength to kill people with no regret of grief. I do still give grief through my actions, but I never give in to the guilt that gathers.
    Other Assassins call me cold-hearted. I am not sure what it's called. I call it Fear. The fear that gave me wings. The wings to fly across this land's air, to kill the thought of harm to my home. An Assassin's only purpose to ave Peace in all things.
    It's getting harder to keep that purpose.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Roxas hesitated at the door way, looking ahead into the dark room ahead of him. Namine didn't look back, not giving any concern about him not being there with her. It mad Roxas wonder at why he was here, if he should just run. No, it would cause him to be a coward, as well as not worth enough to Namine.

    Roxas stepped forward onto the wooden floor of the room, the doors closing behind him. It smelt like a deep musty smell, as if someone hasn't left in a while.
    The only thing that smelt pleasant to Roxas was Namine's floral smell, anyway.

    "So, you have come back." A gruff said, Roxas feeling as though it was a familiar voice. He spoke to this voice before, as in another dream, or memory. Roxas was looking at the floor, or in space, to see what the voice's owner was.

    "Are you going to answer, boy?" It said impatiently, not wanting to be waiting. Roxas stiffened, looking ahead into the dim room that only a shaded window shown light, a silhouette showing from the shade. He, at least what Roxas thought was a He; was older then Axel, more broad in the shoulders.

    "I... I'm back." Roxas answered hesitantly. He didn't really know if he should have said it that way. Roxas noticed Namine's dress gave off a sort of glow to her, making her vulnerable. He wanted to walk over to her, and protect her.

    "It seems as though a place has fallen in our great Organization. Did you have anything to do with it?" The man asked, which made the question more like he was talking to someone else. They knew it was him, why is he asking such a question?

    "Yes. I killed one of your members. But from my information, I was informed from my master the wrong way. I'm sorry for the inconvenience." Roxas answered the question anyway, knowing for some reason that that would displease the man.

    Roxas's hunch was correct, for the man stood, waving his hand to make a force field push Roxas against the wall behind him. Roxas felt as though he should make a fool of himself, and call his keyblades, but only sat on the ground, not making a move, for Axel was already before him.

    "Xemnas! He was only answering the question!" Axel exclaimed, calling his flamed chakras to his palms. The flames made the room light up a bit, Namine running over to Roxas's side.

    "No time to just sit there. I have to help you." Namine insisted, as Roxas felt a liquid roll down his forehead. Namine suddenly had a white handkerchief in her hand, wiping off the blood on his head, scooting closer to him.

    "You're making this a big deal. I'm still breathing." Roxas said, trying to get up. Namine put her hand on his shoulder, keeping him down.

    "Soon enough, you won't be breathing if you continue!" She said, pushing him down in the floor. She continued to pay attention to his wound on her head as Roxas watched Axel guard his friend.

    "I don't care if he answered! That is the proof that he killed Saix!" Xemnas yelled, waving his hand in frustration again. Axel held one of his chakras to his face and the other to his torso, the force only blowing against him as wind.

    "That doesn't matter! It's over now, and you wanted to talk to him!" Axel yelled back, making Roxas wanting to get up and fight him. If Xemnas thought he was so tough then...

    "That ******* wasn't able to withstand one of my force fields! He is surely not strong enough to take on the tests!" Xemnas answered back in doubt and anger, as Roxas suddenly felt as though this was a game.

    "Namine, what is he talking about?" Roxas asked, as Namine was still holding on to his wound on the back of his head.

    "I'll explain after this nonsense is over." She said, sitting partially on his lap, and holding on to her handkerchief. Roxas continued to watch, Xemnas finally calmed down. Axel dropped his chakras as they disintegrated and entered the floor. Axel watched Xemnas closely, as he sat down in his seat once more.

    "Why do you think he should be tested?" Xemnas asked, Axel standing his ground. He looked determined for Roxas to enter this test, making Roxas wonder. What is this test?

    "He seems much stronger then the last time I fought him, and I think Treason trained him well." Axel responded, Xemnas tensing at the thought of Treason.

    "Well, I guess he can. Take him to Olympus, and he will train, fight, and be tested there." Xemnas finally answered after a long silence. Axel turned, waving his hand. The doors opened, making three men with coats fall over into the room. One was a bit shorter then the other, making him stand out.

    "Err... Sorry 'bout that." The shorter one said, getting up and running out of the room. The other three didn't say a word and followed the shorter one, their hoods concealing their identity.

    Axel sighed the words of something along of 'Idiots,' as he exited the room. Namine stood, taking Roxas by the arm as she lead him out of the room, Xemnas only left to be alone.

    "Well, it seems she has forgiven him." A gruff voice said alone, the doors closing to the room once more, to leave the man to himself.

    Roxas felt the light make his pupils dilate, making him let go of Namine and hold his face. Namine turned, her face finally being revealed to Roxas. He lifted his head after a couple of seconds of adjusting to the light. Roxas looked upon his love, her eyes drifting into an anger side. He didn't know why she would be that way, but suddenly he was against the wall, Namine pushing him.

    "Why did you do that?" She asked, looking at Roxas's pained face, since he hit the back of his head.

    "W-What are you talking about?" Roxas asked, seeming clueless.

    "You acted like that! Why?!" Namine said, sounding more angry. Roxas didn't know what it was with her attitude change. Axel pulled Namine by the hood, making her let go of Roxas, as Axel had an annoyed face.

    "Drop it, Namine. Let's just get going, or the boys will get here." Axel said, Namine turning to Axel.

    Roxas felt like saying 'Too late,' but he didn't know if these were the boys Axel was talking about. The three boys from before were walking down the hallway before them, all smooth and calmed in their walking. It was as though the door thing never happened.

    Roxas heard Axel sigh again, as he took Namine and Roxas by the wrists, and walked briskly out of the room to the left, where another hallway was. Suddenly there was another hooded man on the other side of the Hallway, Axel not stopping.

    "Axel, who do you have there?" A man said playfully. He was the shorter then the others, the one that ran out of the room before anyone did before. He was pointing at all of them, as Axel let go of Roxas and Namine, the both of them about three feet apart.

    "You know who they are, idiot. Let us pass." Axel demanded, sounding not as he did before in the Mansion. Axel's playful and brother-like aroma fell to the floor as Axel's face was serious.

    The man jumped back, his hood falling off his head. He had sandy brown hair, his eyes blue like Roxas's. He was a bit smaller then the others, making him more of a target. The man flicked his hand, drops of water falling off his hand, the drops falling on the floor. Roxas gripped his hidden blade, as he looked for the most vulnerable spot.

    "Dance water, dance!" The man said childishly, as the drops of water on the floor began to spread, and extend. A form of a man hunched over, holding some sort of instrument was suddenly in front of them, as the same instrument was held in the man's hands now.

    "This is getting ridiculous." Axel said in a gruff voice, his chakras being called. The were flaming a little more then before, as in Axel was annoyed. Roxas's right hand was to his side, clenched, as in he would use his keyblades for this one.

    "Namine, get back." Roxas warned, as he stepped in front of her, calling Oathkeeper to his hand. It reluctantly appeared, heavier then before. He hasn't used the keyblades in so long, since he disappeared. He remembered Treason telling him those were useless, and only brutal strength was going to kill the people he was after.

    "Aw, Roxas has his Keyblade out!" The man yelled out in child's play, as the three other men appeared behind them, only one revealing themselves. it was Marluxia again, with a smirk smile upon his face.

    "Demnyx, we don't have time for this!" Axel yelled out, Roxas remembering the man finally. He was the annoying little member who always tried to make Roxas fight him when he was part of the Organization.

    "We have all the time in the world." Marluxia responded cleverly. He wanted to fight Roxas now he was much stronger then when he first joined. He was curious to find out what Roxas's true power was.

    Namine held onto Roxas's shoulder, not moving an inch. Roxas stepped back, calling his other keyblade to his left hand. It appeared confidently, a powerful bash came to Roxas's head.

    "I don't have the patience for this." Axel said, his hand on his forehead, his chakras disappeared into the floor. Axel waved his hand, a portal appearing as he pushed Namine and Roxas inside.

    "Idiots." Axel remarked as he stepped inside the portal, as he heard Demnyx swear, and after saying "Coward!". Axel laughed to himself, as Roxas and Namine were suddenly on the floors of what looked like a machinery room.

    Roxas thought everything was normal, until he saw two chipmunks jump up and down at his feet, sounding like they were trying to tell him something.

    "Err..." Roxas said, seeing Namine giggle.

    This is absolutely amazing, Rissy. There are a few grammatical errors here and there, but I adore your writing style and the concept of this story. I applaud this, madam.

    I really enjoyed reading this. =) It was an interesting story, and the plot and characters kept me interested. You said yourself that you didn't run it through spell check, and I recommend you do that with every chapter you post. Gramatical errors can take away from the mood of the story sometimes, and you want your reader to be hooked, so taking out possible distractions is a smart idea. ;D

    But the writing itself was excelent. Good details, interesting plot, realistic characters...keep it up!

    It was a good chapter. =) I didn't see any spelling mistakes, but I did see gramatical mistakes. I know they don't show up on spell check, so it's really hard to find those sometimes. I also noticed tense changes a few times. But other than that, great writing. Hopefully you'll keep using spell check in all your future chapters. ;D

    Good chapter; your writing is improving with each update. I noticed one spelling error in the first section (I think), but I didn't notice many (if any) gramatical or tense errors. Great job!
