Alex leanned against the wall,asking for the a cab to come.

"shouldnt you call Lyra....? tell her your coming home now?"

 

Casey shook his head. "I don't want to risk waking her up. Just in case."

Lyra was curled up in bed,hugging a extra pillow

Cory pushed the chair against the counter in the kitchen

"shh! "Maddie said"Mummy and Daddy are sleeping!"

 

Casey, who had pretty much collapsed onto the sofa (and onto his sister) once he'd gotten home, was sprawled out across it. He grunted in a muffled manner and tried to hug the entire sofa, not that he could. Luckily for him, just before she left, Elle decided to be nice and dumped a duvet onto him to keep him warm during the night.

 

"Cory....watch it! its gonna fall all over Mummy's clean floor."


"Shhhs! your gonna wake them up!"


"Shut up Maddie- Oops."Just as his brother said,the box of ceral,Cory was trying to get for his siblings and himself had fallen and burst all over the floor,Micke just laughed

"Im telling!" she turned and fled into her parents bedroom"MUMMY!"

 

Casey awoke to the sound of crashing cereal and screaming children. His hang over smacked him over the head almost instantly. "CORY!" He shouted from under his blanket covering.

 

"SORRY! I'LL FIX IT!"


Lyra rushed out of her room and into the kitchen "Cory...."she sighed she waved her wand and the ceral zoomed together and into the bin "Ok,you three have got to be quiet now ok? Daddy's.....sick."

 

"Thank you..." Casey muttered, snuggling back up under the covers with a smug sense of warm satisfaction. It almost cancelled out the pain in his head, almost.

 

"Casey why dont you go into the room and sleep?"Lyra said,she only had the smallest of headaches due to her own fun with elle the night before,other than that she was fine.

Maddie tilted her head to the side"does daddy need a doctor?"

"No sweetie...."

"I'm comfy here though..." Casey whined in a muffled voice.

 

"Fine...fine."she sighed,then the phone went,she answered it quickly before it could annoy Casey again "Hello?"she said quietly,going into her room.


"Do you know where I put my car keys?" Alex asked

"Umm.."

 

"Who is it...?" Casey enquired from the blankety depths of his warm, quiet haven. Not that he really cared, he just felt like he should try and make conversation or it'd be rude.

 

"Alex."she said moving to sit in a arm chair" what did you three do last night? he cant find his car keys....wait didnt he drive there? how'd you get home?"

 

"Taxi..." Casey replied, sitting up and pulling the duvet up over his head. "And I think I might know where is keys are actually... I chucked them at Elle, she caught them just as she disapperated."

 

"Elle,has them Alex."Lyra said "Casey said he threw them at her....wait how'd you get them?"

 

"I nicked them when he wasn't looking in the cab." Casey chuckled weakly. "Seemed hilarious at the time. And he was pretty much out of it so it wasn't exactly difficult."

 

she smiled and shook her head "Look who's talking Mr.Come home and collapse on his sister."she laughed"so much for 'No Lyra....I'll come home sober.'"she said in a bad imitaion of his voice"Alex,want me to-oh you'll go...ok..see ya later ."she hung up"wow...he sounds rough....."she said"Hmmm....I think I'll go annoy Jordan later..."

 

"Well Alex was the most sober of the three of us by the end." Casey smirked, it was hard to tell if he was slightly proud of how he'd managed to get so drunk, as usually Casey wasn't a big drinker, or if it was just his voice going funny from the massive hangover. "Elle's going to have a lovely surprise when he shows up, if it's any time soon she won't even have brushed her hair."
