"Casey....stop it."Lyra said "She loves him....He loves her...age is but a number."

"You sound releived"He laughed

 

"It's not just a number to the government when it's between a child and a voting age adult!"

"As much as I love her she can be hard work." Elle giggled. "I don't know how Lyra copes with four."

 

"Casey...seriously...cant you just let it go?..it happened a long time ago...and Elle's happy now.."

"Maybe because she has Casey....Im still getting used to Jamei....or I'd help more...but im Clueless."

 

"He f*cked my baby sister when she was drunk, upset and fifteen. And then managed to knock her up and not even make the connection between the two events! I really don't think he actually cares if he didn't even realise that."

"You're doing just fine. Most people don't just get a six year old dropped on them."

 

She sighed Turning away from him " give up..."she muttered walking away "Im giving the twins and Cory lunch."

"You really think Im doing fine?"

 

"Fine..." Casey muttered, stroking Immy's hair as the tiny baby squeaked quietly to express it's upset at the aggression in the room.

"I do." She smiled. "I really do."

 

She went straight to the kitchen,slamming the door shut mored harder than needed,but it was a sign she was annoyed.....when Lyra was annoyed,she slammed things.


"Thanks"he grinned again

 

After a while Casey set Immy down in her cot. She'd finally fallen asleep which meant she could finally be left alone. He wandered downstairs and into the kitchen.

The doorbell rang, and shortly after Jamei slowly wandered into the room. "Ermm... Jessica's mum's here..." She said, pointing at the door.

 

"Oh Mickey was that all over your shirt?"She said wiping him with cloth


I'll get it.

 

"What happened...?" Casey asked as he re-shut the door behind him.

"Thank you." Elle said as she wandered up to her daughter. "You have everything? You know what time she's bringing you back? You going to be a good girl?" She asked, each and every question receiving a nod in reply. "Good." She smiled as she patted the little girl on the head.

 

he's got something on his shirt....again....let me guess....Mud?"


Mickey just stared,but his eyes said that his mother was right



He opened the door

 

"Honestly Mickey." Casey sighed. "At this rate you're going to end up having all your clothes in the wash. You'll have to stay naked."

"Hello." The brown haired woman on the other side of the door said, a smile on her face. She was around ten years older then Elle, but the little girl standing next to her was the same age as Jamei. If not a little bit older. "I'm here to pick Jamei up."

Elle wandered out of the living room with Jamei close behind. "Heya Laura." She smiled as she ushered the little girl towards the older woman.

 

"Eww! gross!"Maddie said while her twin laughed at the idea of having no clothes


"Have fun Jamei"Alex smiled

 

"I know right?" Casey chuckled, wrinkling his nose. " Who would want to see that naked?"

"Thank you..." Jamei said quietly walking out of the door.

"See you sweetie." Elle smiled as she waved to the mother and shut the door behind them.

 

"Hey!"he said

"Maddie laughed

"Mum.....your positive about watching the kids? I mean...with Jordan's that six kids...Mum..."Lyra said,she was all dressed up,a long red dress on - her favorite- and her hair pinned back.

"Yes...Lyra sweetheart.....You and Casey need a good night out....you havent had one in so long...I'll be fine."

 

"If she says she can do it, she can. Have some faith in your mother." Casey chuckled. "Besides, she's got my Mum here too. So she's not on her own."

 

"I know ...I know..."She said "Its just....Im worried...Its the first time we've left Immy alone....and you know how she gets...."

"Someone's got separation issues."Jordan grinned,lounging in the arm chair"Immy'll be fine...last time I checked she sleeps like a rock most of the time."

 

"Just don't wake her up, or you'll never get her back to sleep." Casey said, partly agreeing with Jordan. "She's very particular about how she goes to bed."
