Lyra,who'd gotten out of hospital a few day ago,had made a habit of phoning Alex or Elle everytime she thought Casey was busy and out of ear shot or it was his turn to feed,change,bathe or put the baby to bed.She was worried for her cousin and Elle,worried that i Casey finaly did catch them nothing would calm his rage.

 

Casey was upstairs trying to calm the new baby, she'd turned out to be very clingy. Particularly towards her father.

Elle was still staying around Alex's, she was unwilling to go home because she knew she'd have an answering machine full of angry messages and a much, much highe chance of an in-person rage from various members of her family.

 

Lyra headed into the room"How is she?"She asked


Alex was likewise hiding from his own family,he'd already listened to a voice mail from his father and had had to leave the room because the words his dad was using were not words he wanted Jamei to hear or use.

 

"Being a clingier then a koala, as usual." Casey chuckled.

"So much for it calming down after a few days." Elle said as she cleared up Jamei's toys. The little girl had wandered off upstairs to play on her own for a while.

 

she laughed moving behind him slipping her arms around his waist and putting her chin on his shoulder"Maybe she'll grow out of it."

"It might take a few moe days"he said looking up from the essay he was writing.

 

"Have to hope so, or getting her to go to school is going to be a nightmare." Casey chuckled, stroking the baby's blonde hair.

"I don't think they're ever going to forgive us for this..."

 

"They cant ignore us or stay mad forever."he said


she laughed"Just leaving the room when she's awake is a nightmare."

 

"I don't know, both of our families are very good at holding grudges." She sighed.

"I know. Even when she's asleep it's difficult."

 

"They arent gonna make us blacksheeps of the family Elle."


sshe smiled"Atleast the other three are ok with her....not to rough or loud or jealous...I thought Mickey would have been since he was the baby of the family but he seems to adore her."she smiled again

 

"They have more then enough reason too though..." Elle mumbled as she finished tidying up.

"I was a bit worried about that too." Casey chuckled. "But everything's working out fine."

 

"she's got everyone wrapped around her little finger"she smiled putting her finger in the baby's fist


I know ..I Know"

 

"Seems like it." He smiled, turning his head slightly and kissing her softly on the cheek.

Immy held onto the finger as tightly as her tiny hand could manage.

"Anyway, sorry, I'm probably distracting you..."

 

she smiled

No..No your not"

 

"She's so pretty." Casey chuckled.

"You sure?" Elle asked. "You probably don't want to listen to me whining."

 

"I know."she smiled


"yeah im sure...Im almost done anyway."

 

"Just like you." Casey chuckled.

"Alright." She smiled.

 

"Hmmm true...the only thing is...she doesnt look like me alot."


he smiled back

 

"I think she does. A lot like you, and a lot like my sister..."

"Do you want some lunch? I can go make that while you finish your essay off."

 

"Really? you think so?"


"Yeah sure"he said

 

Casey nodded.

"Sandwich okay?"
