"I thought you werent supposed to keep secrets when you were married Lyra?"he asked ignoring Casey

"what-?"


"I know Lyra! the only one who doesnt is Casey!"

 

"What the hell are the two of you on about?" Casey said, raising an eyebrow. There was a sinking feeling in his stomach, what wasn't she telling him?

Elle slowly leaned her head against the wall and then quickly smacked her head against it. Then again, and again. "Stupid... Stupid... Stupid..."

 

"Nothing Casey...dont listen to him."

"You would say nothing wouldnt you? I suppose you thought It was cute? sweet? "

 

"Seriously guys, what are you talking about...?" He asked, his voice cracking slightly.

After a moment she dropped her head into her hands and sobbed loudly.

"Lyra... What is he talking about...?" Casey asked.

Elle continued to cry, almost choking on her tears.

 

"Casey....Please dont make me tell you....you'll only be angry....."

 

"Well this isn't exactly making me jump for joy..."

After a few moments Elle fumbled around, looking for her phone.

 

"He should know."Jordan said "He has every right to be mad"

"Jordan shut up !"

 

Casey carefully put Immy down in her cot again and turned to face Lyra. "Seriously, what are you talking about? It's getting really worrying now..."

Clumsily Elle dialled Alex's number, she had to warn him. It was only a matter of time before the sh*t well and truly hit the fan.

 

"Just promise you wont get mad...."she said


"That wont work..."


She ignored him"Casey....Its about Elle...Alex...and Jamei."

"Hello?"Alex said answering his phone

 

"What about them...?" Casey said, glancing over at Jamei.

"A-Alex...?" Elle said quietly, trying her hardest not to sound like she was crying her eyes out. "P-Pro-Promise you wo-won't get ma-mad...?"

 

"Jamei's.....Alex is....."she said struggling for words without making him angry


"Alex is her dad."Jordan said narrowing his eyes at his sister"there.Now he knows."


"Is something wrong?"Alex asked urgently

 

"What?" Casey said, not believing them. "You're having me on, right?"

"I-I t-told Jo-Jordan..." She said, wiping her face and breathing in deeply. "He-He promised he wouldn't get mad... B-But he did... An-And now he-he's to-told Casey..."

 

"Casey look at her....really look...cant you see it now I've said it? the ginger hair...the eyes....almost everything....If Alex was a little girl this is what he'd look like."


"Jordan.....why are you doing this?"she asked quietly

Jamei looked over, a look of upset in her eyes. They were talking as though she'd done something wrong.

"That blo--" Casey started to growl, before the words merged into one long snarl.

"He-He to-told Casey..." She repeated. "An-And he's go-gonna go ballistic..."

 

"Calm down...where are you and I'll come and get you and Jamei."

"Casey!"

 

"We-We're at the ho-hospital... Ca-Casey and Ly-Lyra just had their kid..."

"She was fifteen years old! Fifteen!" Casey growled. "That makes him a paedophile you know! He was like twenty years old at the time! What the hell was he thinking?!"

Jamei whimpered pathetically, she didn't like all the shouting. And it was all her fault... Quickly she turned on her heels and fled out of the door to find her mother.

 

"They were drunk Casey....people do stupid stuff when they're drunk."she said"Jamei!"


"Ok...I'll be right there.wait outside."

 

"No, stupid is getting a tattoo or shaving your eyebrows off! What he did was almost statutory rape!"
