Here we go again

Elle followed behind him, but not too closely. They still hadn't told anyone about their relationship, and considering the circumstances it wasn't going to be happening at any point soon.

 

"He'll be here soon."Alexx muttered to Lyra

"I dont care..."she said through gritted teeth.

 

Casey stroked her back soothingly as she growled. Trying his best to keep her from snapping.

 

Alex sighed and sat down behind them,with a slight shrug


It was more than halfway through the service that Jordan actually made and apperence,and he looked a mess,like someone had beat him with a baseball bat,as the black eye suggested

 

As Jordan made his more then just a little late appearance Casey looked over at him, daggers in his eyes. Though once he saw the bruises he gained a little more concern in his look, but not a lot. He was still furious at how ill Jordan had made Lyra through his immature behaviour, and that wasn't going to change any time soon.

Once Elle had seen her older brother turn around to look she turned too. Her eyes fixed firmly on her brother-in-law/ex-boyfriend. She too was none to impressed with his shallow behaviour of late, but she at least had slightly more sympathy for him. For she too knew what it was like to be heart broken.

 

Lyra looked towards her brother,her anger melted for a split second before returning,deciding that what had ever happened to him,he had deserved it and he wasnt getting anymore sympathy from her,she was washing her hands of the whole thing.

 

Casey sighed and looked back to the front of the venue, deciding that it was better to pay his respects to his passed on father-in-law than glare at his useless brother-in-law.

 

she took a shuddering breath

 

Casey squeezed her shoulder supportively.

 

"she smiled weakly at him.

 

"It'll all be okay..." He said quietly, trying not to disturb everyone else around them. He gently kissed her forehead.

 

she nodded"I know."

 

"Good..." He smiled slightly, stroking her hair softly.

 

It was a few months after her father's funeral,Lyra was in her mothers house,checking up on her as she did ever few weeks.


Jordan was up in the attic,looking for a book he needed for school,he'd really picked his life back up and now was doing really well in college.

 

Casey was lurking around, occasionally leaning back to peer around a door to check on his wife and her mother. Lyra was more then certainly showing now, and he was becoming more and more protective. He did this every time she was pregnant.

Elle too had tagged along to come visit Lily, she'd been like a second mother to her pretty much all of her life and she felt as though she two should come around to see how she was doing. This also meant, however, that Jamei had to come too.

"Oi!" Came a giggling-shout from the opening hatch to the attic, Jamei had managed to climb her way up. "What you doing' Jor-Jor?" She asked.

 

"Lyra! put that down you arent supposed to lift things!"Lily snapped


"Mum....its a plastic box..."she said rolling her eyes


"Lookin' for a book."he said not even correcting the child on his name

 

"Do you want me to do it Ly?" Elle asked, volunteering and standing up.

"What book?" She asked wandering over across the dusty floor.

 

"Magical monsters book."

"I got it....Mum's just making a fuss."she said

 

"Is that the bitey book?" She asked, looking around quickly.

"Okay then." Elle nodded sitting back down again.
