Here we go again

she gasped loudly"she is! is it a girl? I want a sister!"

 

"I don't know anything." Casey chuckled.

 

"Liar!"she giggled"Mummy tells you everything!"

 

"Well there's some things even Mummy doesn't know."

 

"well...do you want a baby boy or girl?"she smiled sweetly

 

"I really don't mind either way." Casey chuckled.

 

she smiled

 

Casey carefully set her down on the floor again. "I'm going to go check on your Mummy, okay?"

 

she nodded still smiling

 

Casey smiled slightly and wandered off to find Lyra.

 

Lyra was sitting on the edge of the bed staring into space

 

Casey knocked gently on the door and peered around the door-frame. "Ly...?"

 

"Hm?"she said looking up

 

"How are you doing...?" He asked wandering over and sitting besides her.

 

"I'll get by..."she said

 

"If you want to talk I'm here..." He said putting his arm around her.

 

"I know..."she nodded"You always have been."

 

"And I always will be." He smiled before kissing her forehead gently.

 

she smiled"Thanks."
