Kingdom Hearts II Help with the annoying Sephy

Okay. So I'm lvl 63 on Proud mode. I need to kill Sephiroth so I can get that wonderful Fenrir keyblade. However, I CAN'T SEEM TO BEAT THAT ANNOYING SILVER-HAIRED PUNK! Neh. It seems that every time he floats into the air and says, "Heartless angel" I die because I can't reach him by then. Please! Help! Advice = love and cookies! <3 So pweeeeease help me.

You have the relecting spell? put that on your speed button thingy and use it real good and get him in the air and when you see him about to strike REFLECT

 

Simple, do you have beserk charge, and any ability that leaves you one HP after a combo? It helps if you you have Glide lv 3 for Sora.

 

High Jump and Aerial Dodge- Combined level on Normal Sora should be at least 4
Have Elixirs on a shortcut if you aren't confident on stopping him
Trinity Limit+Berserk Charge+Horizontal Slash= Dead Sephiroth lol

Just have double jump prepared and smash him to pieces
If not have alot of potions and reflect/cure would help

Thanks everyone. . . I leveled up my drive forms and glide is totally awesome on the highest lvl... XD and so I used reflect and it worked amazingly! I defeated him! *does happy dance* THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!

 

Reflect works on heartless angel? I never knew that. I'll have to try that.

I'm a little bit surprised no one brought up Second Chance. Without it you will die instantly on that move but with it you are left with 1 hp and no mp. Sucks but atleast you're not dead. Once More is vital on just about everything else he does but that actually was brought up.

 

ok if what i'm about to tell you can't help then look at come vids about how to beat him

first you start press triangle then attack but don't do your finisher then wait for him to attack then block and counterguard do this untill you take of 4 heath bars off him then the rest is up to you sorry can't help if that he can do any move that know one can know unless you know the future

Yeah, Sephiroth was an annoying boss, especially when he uses his "Sin Harvest" attack. Anyway, here is a link to a video on Youtube, (more of a guide to defeating Sephiroth) I hope this helps!

I don't know why people think Heartless Angel kills... it CAN'T! I have NEVER fought him with Second Chance in KHII...

 

I'd guess the reason for that is because immediately after he does it and reduces you to 1 HP, he goes in to strike so you have to immediately cure yourself and if not, you are done for.

 

That's why I have Elixirs as backup...

 

Yeah. Elixirs are good lifeboats just in case. Berserk is also REALLY nice to have. REALLY is an understatement, actually.

 

Hmm...well,i remember kicking sephi's butt,by using negative combo,and not equipping any of the combo plus abilities,except the air combo ones.He was quite easy after that.Hope it helps! :)

 

Well it will kill you in KH1 so I thought it was the same in KH2 as well. Apparently there was a coding change in more than just the visual. And don’t try to tell me it’s not that way in KH1 because that was the main thing in my way for non ability runs.

 

It was a shame Send Heartless Angel killed in KH1, because the move itself originally isn't supposed to. The move is as it should have been in KH2.

I love the ultima weapon. Period. It makes the magic bar fill up so fast! I remember looking at it when I was fighting Sephy and it was like "Woosh!" Made me HAPPEH! I still use it even though I have the Fenrir. The Fenrir has a higher strength, but I dunno. I just don't like it as much. Did any of you beat Sephy with the Oblivion? Or the Pumpkin one? (forgot its name)
