Chain of Memories help with riku repuka

ok im playing CoM im on the fight after u beat darkside and im facing riku on my first first try i got him down to green but now the rest of the times i only get him to blue anyone have any hints to help?

hmmm...try this strategy out.

Basically you want to have a deck that's 1/3 zeros and high level cards
(9,8,7). Place the cards in this pattern or as close as you can get to
it: 0,9,8,0,9,8,0,9,8, etc, etc. Basically you want it so you can get a
zero out at a moments notice so when Riku whips out a huge attack you can
just break it with a conveniently placed 0 card! The best part is that
everytime you break one of his stocks he looses a card permanentely so
actually as the match goes on your actually making him (and all bosses)
weaker. :-D

The 0 card doesn't have to be an attack card just anything that is a zero.
Also it also helps to have 1/3 of you deck as healing cards at the end of
your deck. these cards are for STOCKING ONLY! Riku will easilly break them
if used individually so you need to stock them to at least a value of 10.
HOLD that "Curaga" until you have a clear chance to use it (usually after
you have broken one of riku's stocked attacks) since it will take him a
little while to build something that can break your "Curaga".

So basically you just keep on attacking and healing and let your well
placed zeros do all the work for you. I finshed him (and most of the game)
off without using a single summon or cardstock (other then stocking
healing cards).

ok im playing it rite now ill try that out see wit my deck i have all the 0 cards first then strong cards then all magic cards then potion i think thats y ive been losing......... anyoine else have any ideas because this aint working

first stoc about 4 0's at the end of the deak. get also strong cards (7-9's). then attack head on. put a oggie and vexen in you enemy deak for insurance. put about 3 heals

attack head on. just kill him. only use the zeros for dark arura. and only heal when you are up to green life. when you have about a qurater life, put on vexen. if you die, while sora says can't go on, ativated oggie boogie.

maybe i should use some them cards lol
im playing CoM rite now so ill try to see wat i can do

 

yeah its usefull espeacially when u get the Leaxaus card it can kill any heartless just by using a finish on them!

 

ya it took me i while to beat larxene after that battle i mean come on 2 battles in a row!

 

well,
i can't remember how i did it with sora, but with riku i did this:
When he runs at you to attack you jump over him, so he misses you.
Also, when he does that normal move where he jumps and spikes you with blacde, jump right before he is about to hit you.
When he does dark firaga (purple fireball) quickly run behind him.
And when he does dark aura (where he flys around) quickly break with a zero card keep doing this and after a while he will run out of sleights then just break his moves with sleights or high level cards and finish him off!

thanx everyone i finally beat him but i didnt use ur guy's stragie though i did this use 6 strong cards put 3 cures in the middle put jafar genie and vexen in there and put 6 xero cards in there if anyone needs help

 

its a bit easier with Riku. Weird i found Larxene easy after the riku rep. Strange
