Video Help! Voices needed for KH Parody!

Hey,
For a while now me and a friend have been working on a KH parody series and it's almost done! We were so pleased until, our voice actor for SORA quit on us!

I really want to audition for at least Vexen, but I never have done a voice audition before. Can some one please give me some tips.

 

Don't worry, I did my first audition for Aerith and I was pretty sure I sounded bad. Just try not to think negative while you're auditioning into your microphone and once it's over, you can choose whether or not you want to do it again whether it's for another video or if you just want to re-do your audition.

What I meant was what microphone should I use. How do I record my voice onto my computer. Finally how can I make a video for the audition on youtube.

I really want to audition I just don't even know how to make a simple video.

 

First of all (if you're a Windows user), you can record your voice using Windows Movie Maker. Then all you have to do is add a title. As for what microphone you should use, I have no idea as my microphone is a really cheap one and not very good but at least it works. We're not really bothered if we can hear you breathing into the microphone as long as your voice sounds good to us (but no pressure, we have a sometimes strange sense of good and it's a parody change the voices to sound stupider if you like!).
If you're not a Windows user, I have no idea sorry.

Well, I'll try and put in a good word for you!! But as Skairekrow had also spread the word we now have more auditions coming in.
Also, does anyone know/want to be a Kairi?
We just had to strip our current Kairi VA of her role because she wasn't following our set rules (which aren't many).

 

I don't know any Kairi's irl, but i'll try some of my other forums.

 

Thanks Xakota, we really need these voices. Without them, the parody won't be able to go ahead and that would be a waste of months of planning.

EDIT!: Xakota, we now know what parts you may be able to get. They are: Vexen (good luck!), Sora and Axel. Good luck and if it was up to me you'd probably have Vexen already with some of the stuff he's gonna come out with lol. Zexion has already been taken by someone so sorry about that if you really wanted to be him. Skairekrow and I will look over your Sora audition as well (Skairekrow's been a bit busy at the moment and hasn't really had the time) and I'll comment on your video to tell you more. thanks for keeping me posted. Anyway, no luck with the Kairis so far, since i'm homeschooled irl and dont exactly go to a lot of forums. I'll still keep trying though :D

When I get the time, I'll try to submit a clip for Marluxia. If I could do a Sora, I would gladly audtion.

 

So yeah, I want to have a reason to frequent this board more, and this reason is a good as any.

Our VA for Riku seems to not be answering our messages, recording the voice and doesn't seem to be online anymore. This is exactly the same thing our old Sora VA and then he quit.
Because of this we are holding auditions for Riku.
Please audition. We're desperate.
