Digital Art HELP!!! Trying self portrait... bad results :(

    Ive been trying self portraiting and I dont like how it ends up. I wanna keep the style, but I want some critique so I can *try* and fix it. Thank you all! It is an SVG (vector) by the way :D. oh also Im using inkscape not illustrator (hardcore linux user)

    Well, the thing is that the graphic art section is pretty dead. I'm not familiar with vector images, so I can't really say, other than it leaves many details to be desired.

    Such as depth, and shadowing, ect.

    Yeah, even for a vector this a bit too flat. Still, it's good for just learning. And just to ask, how do you like Inkscape? I've tried it before but for whatever reason I just couldn't figure it out.

    Try practicing with cell shading. It's very popular with vector art. You've got a nice base here, you just have to play with details.
