What should I tell myself to keep me going throughout the day?

    Tommorrow's going to be worse.
I know it sounds bad, but it works for me.

Some things in life are bad
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on life's gristle
    Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best...

And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

    If life seems jolly rotten
    There's something you've forgotten
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
When you're feeling in the dumps
    Don't be silly chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle - that's the thing.

And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

    For life is quite absurd
    And death's the final word
You must always face the curtain with a bow.
Forget about your sin - give the audience a grin
Enjoy it - it's your last chance anyhow.

So always look on the bright side of death
Just before you draw your terminal breath

    Life's a piece of sh*t
    When you look at it
    Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true.
    You'll see it's all a show
Keep 'em laughing as you go
Just remember that the last laugh is on you.

And always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the right side of life...
    (Come on guys, cheer up!)
Always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the bright side of life...
(Worse things happen at sea, you know.)
Always look on the bright side of life...
(I mean - what have you got to lose?)
(You know, you come from nothing - you're going back to nothing.
    What have you lost? Nothing!)
Always look on the right side of life...

Think about abstract things--think about things that you could easily research later on. Make up logic games and test 'em out on yourself.

That's what I do (if I don't have a book or my iPod to watch anime).

Well I just think: "It'll be over soon." I don't know. It always helps though.

Tell your self that no matter how bad things seem, you will always have friends who care about you.

Always remember that there's someone else who just might have it worse than you. Also remember that you are surrounded by people that care for you, even if it seems like they are your worst enemy and that they don't give a freak. I say pick a goal, something that you desire most, and strive towards it. Make yourself believe that you NEED it, and then just go for it at full force.

Now, if it's an issue to get yourself working then, use a reward system...I use that on the little kids I tutor, and myself actually, and it's gotten me to get off my lazy ass. Basically pick an/some activities that you absolutely enjoy and do them in between whatever you do during the length of your day. For every few things you finish, reward yourself by doing what you like for a few minutes, then go back to doing what you were doing before. It's effective if you obey the honor system. x3

After all, when it comes to this world, we need all the good friends we can get. It feels good to know that there is always someone who will hear you out and try to help the best they can. People like that get me through the day.

My advice applies to you too. These are simple things that make all the difference in a day.

I suppose I tend to realize straight off that in our lives we have a lot of crap that happens which isn't so positive. Accepting that and all helps me realize that if I don't focus on it so much and just recognize it for what it is, I can look at the better things that can happen in a day. Usually, what I try to do too is attempt to make something good happen out of each day. Maybe I help someone else out with something or I go talk to friends and hang out, get a good book, watch a movie or something I've wanted to see, get something new at the mall etc. Basically, try to spruce up your own day if you can and be social and as time goes on, others will also help you with that so days don't seem so dreary. There are all sorts of things we can do to relax and enjoy a day such as even taking a break and roaming about. Maybe try joining something new like a club or doing some school activity to get some change in your life as it often helps invigorate people. I hope this helps.

I just think about all the thins I havent done yet, and can only do if I keep going.

And I generally think about the people I love, or that one special person, and I know I have something to keep fighting for <3

The love you share with people you care about is a powerful bond that should always give you encouragement.

I try... But it never works. The bad things always ruin the good ones.
