Help Me Please

(I regret this being my first post). I need a good antivrius or spyware remover, so far my computer says that I have over 600 viruses, please help me, it has to be free.

good spyware/malware remove= Spybot- Search & Destroy


just google search both. both are free downloads.

Spyware Search & Destroy is your best bet for free software, as Neku said.

 

You can also get Adaware too. I use a combination of AVG, Spybot and Adaware and they all pretty much take care of everything.

 

Spybot S&D and The Trial of Spyware Doctor are you're friends but by the sound of it you have a rogue Spyware program. If you had 800 viruses then I'm afaid to say that you would not have a computer. It is probably one virus making you think you have loads. I just had one of those called Antivirus XP 2008 but a more infamous variety is called Zlob. Get rid of it as soon as possible because these viruses of trojans as they are properly known can steal passwords and other details as well as let other viruses in.

false. I have repaired computers for people that have 1200+. Do NOT pull mis-information out of thin air and try to pass it as fact.

anyways, just download AVG and Spybot S&D as had been said, and your computer'd be fine...

 

Actually when I said what I did I was judging on laptops. I don't think that a laptop would cope with over 800 viruses but you know there are trolans that come up with random numbers just to frighten you. wow, old thread. It also wasn't mis-information on the grounds above.

 

The Best version, that helps alot is either McAfree or Nortion Security Spyware. I recommend both, but McAfree is faster. But Nortion gets and find every little detail.

I use Adaware SE. It's kinda old, but it works fine.
