Think about it this way. Until he met Roxas, Axel had no real reason to exist. When Roxas joined the Organization, Axel finally had someone to to validate his reason for being a part of the universe even though he wasn't meant to exist. When Roxas left the organization, Axel made his reason for "existing" to get Roxas back by any means necessary. It's not wrong or disgusting. In fact, it's pretty goddamn romantic if you ask me.

RoxasxAxel or Akuroku isn't necessarily bad when done right. Although I'm not one for boy love I respect it and will even read it if the story's compelling.
