Hello everyone :)

I'm Jacob, but you can call me Jake. I am rather new to the Kingdom Hearts franchise and have been too lazy to finish the first KH xD. I plan to finish it soon though, but I'm wondering, what else KH-related should I get into?

I got into Kingdom Hearts because I like some of the character's designs. As you can tell, my favorite character design is Roxas. I also run a website, but I'm not gonna advertise it here. xD

So anyways, hello, and how is everyone?

 

Welcome Jake. This is a relatively nice forum; just don't take anything in the spam zone too seriously. As for your question: Hot Topic is a good place to find stuff, but you might want to look at places that also sell anime stuff. Also, all the games are fun to get, although Re: Chain of Memories is kind of annoying because it feels slower (to me) during gameplay than the orignal GBA version. Re: Coded is pretty fun though if you have a DS.

 

I would play it but I'm waiting until I either:
1. Find my DSi
2. Get a 3DS for my birthday xD.

 

Alright. It's good to play through all the Kingdom Hearts games to really get the most out of the story. Birth By Sleep is for a PSP. And Chain of Memories is really hard to find, and you can't play it on a DSi. Re: Chain of Memories for the PS2 does do a good job though. Kingdom Hearts 2 is really fun though. Then out of the two DS games, Re: Coded is more fun to play, but 358/2 Days has more story (but is really repetitive and boring).

 

Welcome to KHV, Jake! Read the rules (obligatory statement) and have fun putting your two cents in around the forum. Do finish KH, it is too good not to finish. I'd say after that just move onto KH: Chain of Memories (either GBA or PS2 version is acceptable). Then you have like 10 different other KH games (slightly exaggerating, slightly), manga, music, etc. you can always look into. Again, have fun and nice having you!

 

I will continue playing KH on my trip *coughplayingKHonemulatorcough*. But after this one I plan to actually get KH2 or Chain of Memories. That makes up for it, RIGHT?!?! xD

 

Get Chain of Memories first. You can play 2 without CoM, but you'll get confused a little bit.

 

Hm, that means either spend $100 I don't have on a PS2 or break out my old original DS! xD

But yeah, I'll try that. I wonder if this one shop has a copy...

 

Welcome Jake. If you're too lazy to finish KH then i'm not gonna tell you to get any of the other games as that'd just throw you off at the moment. Once you do though, I would recommend playing as many other games as possible and if you did it in chronological order (minusBirthbySleep... you already missed it chronologically xp) it will make more sense... trust me... anyway just read some rules and have fun.

 

Welcome to KHV Jake. Make sure you finish that first game so you can get to the better controls in the other games.

 

Why hell there Jake! Like everyone else is saying, have heaps of fun here and enjoy your stay.
I haven't finished KH1 or CoM yet either, I mainly plaayed KH1 when I was at a friends. Anyways, seeya around the forum. :3
