Heavy, Non-Existent Heart

Saix held her. "i'm not sure why... i can't be the bad me around you...." he loosened his grip, for fear that he would hurt her.

Xemnas was watching them. "grrrr...." he growled silently.

 

Raiu suddenly let go, looking worried. She could sense someone near. "Someone's watching us." She got behind Saix, wanting him to protect her from the threat.

 

Saix drew his claymore and narrowed his eyes.

Xemnas growled again and portaled back to the castle.

Saix was looking around. whatever or whoever was watching them wasn't going to hurt Raiu. he would make sure of that.

 

She sensed that the threat was away now. "It's OK. I think the threat is away now. But maybe you should go. Who else might come here?"

OOC: xemnas should confront him. that would be cool...

 

Saix nodded. "i can only think of one person..." the deviner said as he made a portal. "Xemnas.... why can't he just leave us alone...?" he asked. "i enjoy being with you. Xemnas wishes to ruin it..."

 

"He doesn't want me with you because I would ruin plans for him. I'll be OK for a while. Don't worry." Raiu ran up to him and embraced him. "I promise I'll be OK."

 

Saix wrapped his arms around her. "i hope so... if you need anything... don't hesitate to ask............ okay?" the diviner got up the courage and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

 

Raiu reacted to the kiss he placed on her. She nodded and ran off to her home with tears in her eyes. Was she starting to love Saix, a Nobody who can't even feel? She couldn't think. But she did wonder whether he would be okay or not.

 

Saix walked through the portal. Xemnas was waiting for him. "where were you?" Xemnas asked, taping his foot.

"oh... i.... just... needed some fresh air..." Saix lied.

Xemnas knew he was lying. "alright then... Xemnas portaled to his room.

Saix portaled to his room and went to bed.

 

Raiu was curled up on her bed, crying. What was wrong with her? Saix showed that he did care, but she didn't even know if she should believe him or not. But she knew that anytime, the Superior would come for her, and use her as bait to put Saix back in line...

 

Saix layed in his bed. why did he kiss her on the cheek? why did he seem to feel this way about her? did she feel the same about him? so many questions yet none answered.

 

Raiu tried to make her thoughts go away but she couldn't. Saix seemed to like her and she liked him back. But she was worried about their connection they have with each other. She knew that from this point on, her life would be in danger...

 

Saix allowed himself to sleep. he was dreaming of him and Raiu... alone. they were talking. but they suddenly held each other close as their lips got closer.

 

Before Raiu completely fell asleep, she had one thought run through her mind. She wouldn't know how to tell him but she knew it was true.

Saix... I really like you. In fact, I think I... love you.

 

millions of thoughts were racing through the diviner's head as their lips got even closer. their lips were about an inch away when Saix's alarm woke him up. "oh... a dream." Saix said as he sat up.

 

Raiu woke up much later. She jumped out of bed without even doing anything and she ran to the beach with tears in her eyes. Only two days after they met, Raiu felt a connection like nothing else before and especially with a Nobody, who can't even feel at all. But more than anything else, she wanted to see Saix... she had to.

 

Saix peeked into Xemnas' room. the diviner was relieved to see that he was asleep. Saix opened a portal to the beach and stepped inside. he waited for Raiu.

 

Raiu arrived at the beach and she saw the one she loved. She ran to him. "Thank god you're here. I want to tell you something, Saix. I just don't know how to say it."

 

Saix raised an eyebrow. "what exactly? i have something to tell you too." he crossed his arms. "but... you can go first...."

 

Raiu looked sad but she had to tell him how she felt. "Well... the best I can say it is, well..." Raiu bowed low in front of him and took a deep breath "...I really like you." She waited for his response.
