Heavy, Non-Existent Heart

Saix looked at her. "it awakens memories." he said as he directed his gaze back to the skyscraper. "would you like to know something about this place?" the diviner asked.

 

Raiu nodded. Why did it awaken her memory of when she was younger and happy. "Yeah. For some reason, this building triggered my memory of when I was younger."

 

Saix nodded. "that's normal." he kept walking until they reached a giant, floating castle. "this is Organization XIII's base of operations. we live here, work here, and relax here." Saix let out a small chuckle at the word, 'relax'.

 

"You guys live in the castle? It's so... unreal. I haven't seen anything like it before. Why can't I belong to this world?" Raiu buried her face behind Saix, making sure that he wouldn't see her somewhat sad face.

 

Saix looked down at her. "you don't belong here. this is a place for those who belong to darkness. you my dear, you belong to light. if you stay here, your heart will slowly but surely be swallowed by the darkness." the diviner said, with a look full of sympathy... it was a phantom feeling to him.

 

"Is it that wanting so much more for myself is a bad thing?" Raiu said this while still looking sad and aslo looking up at the castle, wanting to belong there. But Saix didn't want that because she wasn't from the darkness. She knew that perfectly...

 

Saix shook his head. "no... wanting more for yourself is a good thing..." he sighed. "are you absolutely sure this is what you want?" the diviner asked. with a raised eyebrow. "if you say yes... i'm not sure how i'm going to convince Xemnas to give a human a room in the castle."

 

"No... I may want it, but I won't do it. Even I know that much. I've learned to control what I want. If getting what I desire is going to cause you trouble, then I don't want to do it. I guess I... now I don't even know what I want any more." Raiu walked over closer to him with her head down.

 

Saix sighed. "look..." he walked up to Raiu and lifted her head up by her chin to where she was looking at him. his face was an inch from her's. "if you want it. say so. it won't cause any problems."

 

Raiu tried to stop looking at Saix and closed her eyes. She didn't know what to do or say. Was this what she actually wanted? To be a prisoner of these heartless beings? But then she heard something. A dark portal opened behind Saix and a dark being like him stepped out. She got behind him and covered her face, a little terrified.

BIC: Saix quickly released Raiu and gave his Superior a small bow. "hello Superior."
Xemnas looked from Raiu to Saix. "who is this girl?" he asked.
"she's.... uh... an acquaintance... Superior...." Saix answered.
Xemnas stared at Raiu, his eyes full of pure evil. "your name?" he asked Raiu.

 

Raiu bowed to him showing respect. "It's Raiu." She backed away with her head down and walked back to Saix, being awfully close to him, knowing that his Superior might hurt her. This is exactly the kind of trouble she didn't want him to be in.

 

Xemnas smirked evily. "an acquaintance eh?" he walked over to Raiu. "so... let's say i did this..." he took a handful of Raiu's hair and pulled with all his strength. "you wouldn't care?"
Saix went wide eyed. what could he do?

 

Raiu dealt with the pain, able to handle it, at least for a little bit. She was used to pain after all. But she couldn't let his Superior know about the two of them and how they bonded so quickly. But then, the pain from her leg kicked in again and she fell to the ground, holding her leg in pain.

 

Saix couldn't take it anymore. "stop!" he shouted.
Xemnas raised an eyebrow. he laughed. "i knew it..." he released Raiu's hair and frowned. "i knew you weren't yourself."
"S-superior i..." Saix began.
Xemnas put his hand up. he created a portal and stepped inside.

 

Raiu was still holding her leg in pain on the ground. She then turned to him, looking sad and exhausted. "That's what I didn't want. Why did you say that?" She covered her face as her leg stopped hurting a little bit, wanting to cry but luckily she didn't.

 

Saix sighed. "i......didn't want........him.....to........ hurt you." he said as he knelt down to her level. too strange... he actually felt comfortable showing his true self around this girl. he felt very protective of her... another strange thing...

 

Raiu calmed down and hung her head down. "This is all my fault. I'm so sorry. I'm the reason why this happened." She asked him to come here and she almost got hurt because of what happened.

 

"don't blame yourself. Xemnas is always like that." Saix suddenly wasn't himself. he hugged Raiu but quickly let go. "oh... i-i'm sorry... i...... don't know what came over me..." the diviner was trying to figure out why he did that.

 

"But I was the one who asked to come here, with your permission." Raiu shook her head and suddenly, without warning, embraced him with her might. She didn't want to let go and then she started to have tears for real this time.
