A brand new story from me. Sorry if you find some of it similar to certain games. The story is about the newly recuited mecernary known Arina Stara, a girl skilled at thievery and assissnation, and her journey to lead Prince Tide Moon to the Great Holy City to stop the evil Saint. Please enjoy! Prologue Above the sky was a kingdom so beautiful that the stars in the sky looked dull to its splendor. Beautiful white doves covered its towers, people wearing beautiful white robes walked across the ground. Despite the beauty of the kingdom, within the palace was one room that only a few people could enter. A dark frightening room, this room was used to the world below, Teala and its capital machine city, Jeruram. The leader, the wise Ansum, and his most trusted council members watched the people of the world below. Recently, they have been watching a young girl with short white ponytailed hair and light lime green eyes. She was a student at the training dorm school in Jeruram, training in thievry and assissation. They have watched her for ten years, after the death of her mother and brother since her father mysteriously disappeared. Since that, she was under the care of a mysterious knight captain. For some reason, Ansum was very interested in the girl. One day, his council members had a meeting with him about the girl. "My lord, the girl is about to graduate from that school. But what if Saint attacks her, like it did with her father?" "Then we will send her to the morden world out of her dream world," he said. "She'll learn the truth of the world and of herself." He stood up and went to the room to obverse the girl, the girl was sitting on her dorm bed, casing her unusual sword. Waving his hand over the image, the girl began to fall asleep and fell upon her dorm bed, beginning to dream. She now found herself standing among others, all standing around a fire, but a boy was standing apart from the crowd. The girl noticed that and walked over to the boy, placing a hand on his shoulder. He was crying and turned to her, she wasn't surprised to stare into his eyes. His right eye was a bright crismon blood red color, and his left eye was a deep emerald green color. They kissed deeply on the lips and the girl walked ahead a bit, staring at the sunset hidden the ruins of collasped buildings. She closed her eyes and drifted. 'This is my story. Listen to my words. We may not have much time left.' It felt like a dream, a young figure stood on a shore of a beautiful sandy beach, waves rolled onto the bright colored sand. But suddenly, the figure felt it was flying over the water, hearing a voice whispering to it, "I'll be here...." "Why....?" The figure whispered back, seeing a desert where it once saw the ocean and hearing the voice whisper again. "I'll be 'waiting'... here..." it whispered, the figure, who turned out to be a girl around seventeen year old, looked up and saw a flower field with a boy around her age standing in it. He had short ponytailed chocolate brown hair, the girl whispered back, "For what?" "I'll be waiting here...." The whisper seemed to come from the boy standing in the field. "....for you.... ....so.... if you come here...." The girl stared at the knitted black wings on the back of the white robe the boy was wearing, she kept staring at the boy as though she had seen him somewhere before. The boy whispered again, "You'll find me...." The petals from the flowers blew in the wind, blowing through the boy's hair, he whispered once more, "I promise...." One of the petals fell into the boy's hand, he closed his hand and grasped it. When he opened his hand, in the place of the petal was a glowing white feather, the wind realeased the feather from the position in the boy's hand and flew away, he smiled as he watched the feather get caught by the wind. The feather floated into a darkening area, the cloud were black. Flying high into the sky, the feather seemed to disappear when the bright light of lighting appeared. Spinning down from the sky was a weapon, the handle looked like that of a black pistol, only longer and a chain sticking out from the end. A pendant, in the form of a dog with three heads ready to attack, dangled at the end. Where the barrel of a gun was usually found was a long silver blade. Lighting struck again as the full body of the girl came into view, she had short spiky snow white hair and light lime emerald green eyes. The girl wore a long black jacket, over the white sleeveess shirt she wore was a necklace, dangling at the end was a pendant, similar to the one that dangled at the end of the chain on the weapon, on her left arm were three belts wrapped around her lower arm, covering her hands were black leather fingerless gloves, holding the pair of black pants on her legs up was a series of belts, larger than the ones wrapped around her arms, a pair of black boots were on her feet. Her right hand grabbed the handle of the weapon and patted it on her shoulder as another girl walked up. She had long pulled light blue hair in a ponytail and light yellow eyes, wearing a deep red long sleeve jacket over a white undershirt, sliver bracelets, black pants and black boots, in her hands was a weapon similar the dark haired girl had, only there was no chain or pendant on it. The white haired girl ran toward the blue haired girl, ready to attack. As the white haired girl swung her blade, white feathers seemed to surround it, in her mind, the girl saw a close up to the black wings on the white robe of the boy she had seen earlier, the boy turned around and looked to where he was. The girl also saw a strange person wearing a strange mask, the boy continued to look around, the masked person just sat in her place, but the girl saw the person again, this time she wasn't wearing the mask. The image of the masked person appeared again in her mind, but now behind her was the boy again. The mask disappeared as the person had her eyes closed with the boy still behind her. The boy grasped a silver ring on a chain around his neck as the person walked to a door and walked through it. The fight between the two girls had just started going on. The blue haired girl had a smile on her face, which wrote a sense of worry on the white haired girl's face. The blue haired girl spun and swung her blade, but the white haired girl blocked the attack by raising her blade. She pushed the blue haired girl away and the fight continued, the two girls trying to knock each other's weapon out. The white haired girl swung her blade, but missed the blue haired girl, who smiled slyly, and used her hand to beckon the white haired girl. In a long shot, the two girls continued to fight each other, neither of them were able to draw blood from each other. Sparks flew as the two silver blades collided with each other, the white haired girl saw a new image in her mind, it was the blue haired girl in some kind of parade, with her was the mysterious person. She saw the boy again, still grasping the silver ring around his neck. As the fight continued, the white haired girl saw the person and the boy again in her mind. Now, the white haired girl began to swing her blade more wildly than before, she attacked the blue haired girl four times, and though each attack was blocked, they did knock the girl back a little. The blue haired girl knocked away the blade of the white haired girl and tried to hit her, but she got out of the way and grabbed her blade. The white haired girl spun her blade coolly and then charged the blue haired girl, having her left hand out. But the blue haired girl had her blade prepared for a magic attack, she used the spell and knocked the white haired girl down to the ground, she couldn't get up because of the smoke from the spell. The blue haired girl grinned and swung her blade across the white haired girl's forehead. The image of the boy still grasping the silver ring around his neck was still in her mind. The blood from her forehead splattered on the ground in the shape of a crescent moon. The white haired girl looked at her enemy, anger written on her face, which was covered in the blood of her new wound. As she stood up, her foot slit across the rock ground, her blade sparked and scrapped the ground as she pulled upward to strike the blue haired girl, the images of the peson, the boy, the blue haired girl and herself in her mind were overtaken by a flurry of black feathers. Through them, she could see the boy smiling at her. He came out of the flurry and leaned toward the girl, who had a curious look on her face. They embraced into each other. Suddenly, Arina Stara woke up with a start. She looked around and sighed in relief, she was still in her dorm room and sighed again. Stepping out of her bed, she got dressed, thinking about her dream. Her cell phone rang, and she picked it up, flipping the cover open. It was a text message from the headmaster, telling her what her assignment was. It was to assissnate the president and his son of a big comapany. Arina clipped the sheath of her sword onto the belt and walked out of her room, the memory of the dream fading in her mind, with the only image of the boy and their embrace left. She whispered, "Tide...." before disappearing into the darkness of night that surrounded her school.
Very good. That was pretty much based off of final fantasy VIII, except for the line about the line about "Listen to my story...there may not be much time..." or whatever. I recognize that from final fantast X. I would love to see some other work done by you based completely on something original. I bet it would be epic =D
